So what you got?

I am a techie of the dakota ridge drama department (DRHS Drama Club= DRDC). My proudest show is Joseph and the Multicolor dream coat. That was an amazing show that we did. "I never saw another butterfly" was very touching too. It was about a jewish family getting torn apart during the holocaust.

By the way... Does anyone know of Harry Shanker or Jon VanEppts?

Yeah, my first experiance as a techie was on my school's production of this show. Previously, I had only been an actor. I have some good memories of that show. I was in the rather lowly position of pullling the curtains and being a grip, but I enjoyed it anyway. But I digress...

I'd have to say that my proudist achevement tech-wise was our production of Into the Woods. I spend many, many hours building the set, getting special effects to work (especially the falling shelf) and they even made me the lighting designer (even though someone else ended up doing most of the lighting work). That was a show to be proud of. If you want to see pictures... http://www.starringcapa.com/ITWpics.htm, but sadly I'm not in any.

I am actually new to theater...this year's Beauty and the Beast production was my first tech experience. But from what everyone says, it was the most difficult set/effects/lighting that they've ever had to do. Our castle set was amazing...took a whole "Castle Crew" to move it forward/back for its scenes...not to mention we had to start construction a full month before building usually starts to get it done.

I guess I'm really proud of the last show I worked on, "Jack and the Beanstalk"

Simply because it was my first real OP job in college on a main stage show.

hands down... An Ideal Husband i costume designed it this fall... and then a friend of mine used some of my costumes and used them for the same show... she got reviewed by the Washington Post and they loved the costumes... must figure out a way to make that review work for my portfolio

but i also loved it because i got to rent costumes from Utah Opera Company... and the cast kicked major butt. 3nodding

OMG we are putting on "My Fair Lady" now it is a kick a** show. i'm doing so much independent work on it. i'm so proud of my self. i even have the 3in screw down which makes me happy because i was having a hard time of it earlier.

(this sounds so wrong and i can't think of a way to make it not)

Last fall my school put on It's a Wonderful Life, and I think that was probabily the best show we've done, since I joined. My freshman year before I joined tech they did West Side Story, and that was AWESOME! It sold out two nights in a row!

Fiddler on the Roof was awesome. We had an awesome costume for the dream scene. It was sweet.
