So, I got my wisdom teeth pulled Friday.

And like, it hasn't been that bad, I don't know what everyone's always bitching about. They gave me Percocet (less pure form of Oxicoten (a less pure form of heroin, basically)), and the worst part of the whole ordeal so far has been the lows from it. I'm not that swollen and I've been able to eat icecream, mashed potatoes, marshmellows, some chocolate and gram crackers (had a fire on the beach today, yay!). The general anesthesia was really fun and unlike most people experience I actually felt a small time lapse between passing out and waking up.

Who's gotten there's done and what was your experience, yo?

I guess I got it easy. My mom had that happen, except she was awake.

I slept for three hours when I got home. It was so nice, considering all the lack of sleep I'd been getting from nightmares. Percocet has a really bad low that I've just been sleeping through. I can take it every six hours, so every five hours I nap for one more, then wake up, take it, and feel fine xd

Ha, they gave my sister Vicodin, and she was so out of it. She could hardly walk or talk for two days because they gave her such a high dosage.

I had all four removed at the same time, and it couldn't have gone better. The worst part for me was getting the IV. That felt REALLY weird... Once that was over, I went night-night and when I woke up, I was dizzy and drooling and oogly-googly. It's funny too, 'cause I immediately got up and ran right into the wall. eek I had to drink Ensure Plus for a few days and I can't remember what they drugged me with. It worked pretty good, though. What really bugged me was changing the gause with my mouth so sore. gonk I couldn't open it! I tell ya, it was a lot easier that braces. That was a real pain in the... ...nevermind. xp

IV hallucinations are fun... whee

I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled out a few years ago. They even gave me a package of the teeth. I was put to sleep and afterwards, I felt lightheaded and dizzy.. couldn't move around much either. Put me a wheelchair, for what reason I don't know. Once I returned home, my mother made me drink water with salt in it. ( Gross! x_x )

I needed them out because I was getting braces and wore those for two years. sweatdrop

I got all mine out in February. And omg, I LOVED the laughing gas. x3 Right after I had gotten it, I actually couldn't stop laughing. x_X And then my mom said something how it's too bad I can't get these kinda drugs at home (jokingly), and I said that I could just steal it from here. It had just been in my thoughts and I didn't mean to say, but it just came out and I was like, "...whoa, did I just say that?"

And then I was all sick-feeling on the way home, and barfed when I finally got home. The whole bleeding a ton thing sucked, as well as having to swish warm salt water and not being able to eat yummy solid food for a long time.

But before I got them removed, my mom gave me a "present": wireless internet for my laptop. So I was occupied and really happy. Cha.

Oh, and the second funnest part besides the laughing gas was having my face all numb and trying to eat a grape popsicle, and then not being able to feel nearly all of it trickling down my chin all over my shirt.

Bah, but it was NOT fun being swollen and being called a chipmunk. x_x And being able to feel the giant holes in my gums was not cool... I ish verra squimish.


~Sorry this is so long, but one more thing. Some people have a mutation of not having wisdom teeth. They are lucky/cool. 3nodding
