I'm not an expert on this, but I have read some things about it.

Would anyone like to post what they do know about this age of Aquarius, and even the past age of Pisces. What does the future possibly hold for us due to the changing of the ages? What sort of changes we can expect to happen to us and what are the difficulties we should expect to experience?

Discuss, please. smile I'm sure there are a lot of people here who know a lot more than I do about this subject.

Yep... I know all about this "new age".

The concept itself started the group of people in society better known as the "new agers".

It was all based upon a mayan theory that there are 12 ages of the earth that span for some estimated 2100 years all equaling to about 25,000 years.

I'm pretty sure that the current theory is that our solar system travels through our galaxy into a new age every 2100 years or so and travels through each age astrologicaly backwards.

It is believed that were are in Pisces right now heading towards Aquarius.

Even one of the False Christs had a say on this concept, and you can go here for that information:

I'd also like to point out that this phenomenon has been observed not just by the Maya but by many civilizations the world over. Basically, the age we are in refers to the constellation that lines up with the sun on sunrise on the vernal equinox. There's still debate as to which age we are really in. If you divide the zodiac evenly, we are in Aquarius, but in reality, Pisces is a very large constellation, and the zodiac isn't evenly spaced. This means that the transition between Pisces and Aquarius may not have happened yet, but most agree that the trasition will take place in the next few hundred years at the latest, if it hasn't happened already.

But if you go by the actual sizes of the constellations for things, there are only around six days in which a person can be born a scorpio, and most people are no longer born under their actual constelation anymore. Unless we say the constellations are merely markers after which equal segments of sky are named, we can't continue to use the system of astrology we use. Doesn't that apply to the ages as well?

I had wondered that as well. I know there's a lot of contention within the astrological community. Sounds like a good debate topic. 3nodding

Ehh, I look at it as an age of advancement. Everything seems to be being updated, new useful things are being invented, etc. It's all apart of what Aquarius is and means.
