plez help me understand what flamming is...
I really need help I am new at this...

Flaming is...well if you put a piece of writing in the wrong forum and somebody says "omg you're so s**t you ******** noob, go to ******** hell and die, and take your poodle with you." thats classed as flaming, its generally just being unfair and harsh....

Flaming is categorized as a review that offers no suggestions, no evidence and is pretty much just an insult. It is against the rules of this guild, natch.

flaming is basically being unreasonably harsh. so "your writing completely sucks theres nothing good about it, go crawl back to the hole you came from and die". Its diffrent from constructive critisim which says something good about whatever you're critizing what you specifically don't like about it and how that could be improved

Clarification: Constructive criticism isn't required to say something good/positive about whatever is being critiqued.

What finalrain said. I tend to only tell you what's bad when I review. Basically, anything I left alone was good. Only something really good gets a comment from me.
