((I don't really understand what sistergoldenhair just said..lol.)) But anyway, by alternative christian we mean christians who are into the "alternative" scene. Dressing in black, listening to "dark" music, etc. It doesn't necessarily mean our views of christianity are different. I however do feel that homosexuals should have equal rights. God never said to throw down your fellow man and kick them into the ground and deny them the same rights as everyone else. He did say to love your neighbor as yourself. And that's what I do. I don't think that people should be so hateful of one another. While I do believe homosexuality is a sin, I'm not going to treat someone differently because of it. If someone disobeyed their parents, would you treat them any differently than anyone else?

Being a homosexual Christian myself, I've struggled a lot with this in terms of what I believe and stuff... 'Cause you see, homosexuality and Christianity are two parts of me that can never change, so I need to make them work together.
Yes, the Bible says that homosexual acts are sinful. It doesn't say anywhere that just being attracted to someone the same sex, or being in love with someone the same sex is.
Also, those passages are all very vague, in a sense. By vague, I don't mean that you can't interpret the meaning, more that it's not specific to what "types" of homosexual acts it's talking about.
My personal beliefs are that sex between two people, be they both men, both women, or a man and a woman, is wrong unless they are in love, and ready and willing to spend their life together, prefferably in marriage or they're ready to be married (i.e. engaged). In the case of a loving, comitted relationship, sex is acceptable regardless of gender.
Those are, of course, my personal beliefs, and it's fine if you don't share them. I'm currently a virgin, and plan on being a virgin until I find the right girl, and we'd be ready to spend the rest of our lives together.
