Alright everyone this thread is an advice thread I guess is what you could call it.
1. We can give you advice on pretty much anything, some examples would be; real life, animes, all kinds of other anyonomoyus subjects
2. PG-13 is a must!!
3. Remember advice is pretty much opions so don't always be offended if it dosen't work out.
4. Also anyone can give anyone advice. so please tell us your problems and will give you our answers., once again everyone can help everyone
5. abide by the rules and no flaming or critizing becuase someone elses advice

I need help with a project. For Nekocon I would like to go as Dark Mousy form D.N.Angel, here is a pic  that's the shirt I want to wear, buuuuuut I don't know how to sew to well, and I'm not what sure of the fabric to use like, I was thinking silk black and silver for the stripes + i need to figure out the collar, P.S. I'm a guy so yeah sweatdrop we aren't really that cordinated.... and when i silk i mean like a silky fabric like uhh ((is polyester shiny??)) yeah that's what i mean a shiny one heh ohh yeah... I'm not sure how I'll do the wings either heh..... plus how do you normally do your hair for something like that??? like if i used a wig where would i get something like that... I know one person who took one class in cosmetology....

Crossed_DNA_strands I need help with a project. I know one person who took one class in cosmetology.... well polyester can be shiny. and im already doing 4q's nekocon costum and so i cant help u there but im sure u can go online for help or take sewing lessons like i did. in fact this is my last week. but of course u might want that leg to heal first. but then again nekocon isnt untill november, so you will probably think of something by then. oh and post a pic and i can give u more advise on wat fabric to use

i am a kit and i keepm getting into trouble, what can i do in the futer to prevent this, or m i just going to have to learn everything myself?

But excersising a little common sense would help you a lot. Check dates before you post and see if the thread has been empty for more than three days. Ask questions when you aren't sure of something. And definately ask the more experienced folks for help.

I know one person who took one class in cosmetology.... Sorry, DNA...I didn't see this thread earlier. Silk is very difficult to sew with--it tends to slide out from under the needle on machines. Polyester snags easily, but would work. I'd put in a suggestion for satin, since you want shiny. And with satin, you can use a glue gun for the long seams and hand sew the sleeves. I can't see your pic, but I have an idea of the costumes from DNAngel. Can you list what the parts are or post another pic?

Is there a limit on the number of stickies a particular forum can have? This thread may be better off as a sticky--I doubt the new, in need of help people are seeing it.
