If you are in the Dark Brother Hood you will know where this is. You need to go to the In Of III Omen and if you look around that area your compass will show like a hill mountain or something and their will be the unicorn it is gaurded by 3 Minitors of the Grove but some people say if you mount the Unicorn it will be yours....well thats a lie. If you leave the Unicorn at a satble i dont know why but it will start killing everyone(Inculding gaurds) .And after it is done killing it will leave and go back to where you found it. so basically the Unicorn is nothing special unless you want everyone dead at a hourse stable.

I've only seen two unicorns in the game and I had to kill them both so idk if there is any way in befriending one and keeping it.

Um...you have to kill it for one of the Daedric Quests. sweatdrop In which I found it.
Funny story...my brother has a video game CD with VG music on it that he put on his X-box 360...when I got to the grove, it started playing Kirby's Dreamland from Super Smash Brothers (for N64). rofl It was so hilarous watching me running around hacking into the minotaurs and the unicorn with that music playing. sweatdrop
But yeah...I wish the Unicorn would've lived... rolleyes

in order to ride it (without hassel) and have it be yours, you can't have murdered anyone in the game (not including monsters and people who attack you first, of course) also it goes nuts if you approach it with ur weapon drawn. if by chance you find it without killing anyone in the game already... u still have the fun of killing the minotaurs without having the unicorn see your drawn weapon. or you can just run, hop on the unicorn and take off. sweatdrop

I don't think...unless it's under a different ID, like the Uderfrykte(which, incidentally, I still haven't found in the Construction Set... but I've fought it, so I know it exists).

My sister saw the unicorn when she was going to the Inn of Ill Omen to kill Rufio so of course the unicorn attacked her and she had to run since she was low level and a couple of minotaurs attacked her too so it was impossible for her to fight and win so she ran to the inn to kill Rufio

yeah, i got the unicorn, approach it without your sword drawn and its alright, i rode it and it became my default horse, so wherever i fast travveled to it appeared there in the cities stables etc. but when i was doing a quest you had to go to cloud ruler temple to do it went crazy and started killing everyone because of the two blades who were swordfighting, it slaughtered everyone but then the old bloke, cant remember his name, managed to kill it because he just kept getting back up, so then i had the delight of throwing it off the cliff and watching it roll, hehe

o.o funny the old man's name is Jauffre grandmaster of the Blades and he's part of the storyline so if he died it would be ruined and that was why he wouldn't die

Does it require a certain level to see it? I've never seen a unicorn once and I don't fast travel, meaning I'm in the wilderness a lot.

For Hircine's quest, you have to be at level seventeen. But there is no requirement to see the Unicorn.
