1.
Story: On the planet of Ormarillion, a small space pod is launched just as
the whole place Explodes. Aboard this space ship will be a hero of great
power, great responsibility and great heart. His name was Garis, will
become Sam Smithson, and will eventually grow to be SANDSTORM.
Sam grows up in the small town of Mills, California. He thinks his parents
are Jill and James Smithson. He thinks that his strange illnesses monitored
by Uncle Dr.Fold are perfectly normal. That is until his 18th birthday. On
this day a container in a series of locked containers on the ship that
brought Sam here opens with a message that only he can understand.
The message says,
Dear son Garis, I am Luhl a scientist on a far away world known as Ormarillion. But in truth I would like this message to be one of Love than explanation. I am your father; standing beside me is your mother Serlia. She will tell you the next part of this message,
Garis, We are your parents, our planet is about to be detonated in hopes that it will destroy The Loch, a creature of pure chaos who we created as a weapon to end all wars. We are sending you to a far planet of livable conditions known as Earth. We hope you will have a wonderful and happy life. Now your father shall tell what this ship means to you.
Son, the containers on this ship are full of a reactive ingredient that is necessary for our kind to survive. It is known as the Darm, and it will help you survive. You have probably noticed a variety of strange illnesses in your life. In truth, this is due to not using the Darm. But we wanted you to wait to have this life-needed ingredient at this time, for it takes a very long time for the incubator to perfect the ingredient. The minute the Darm touches your skin, it will bond with you. As you grow, you must use the other container to continue your life span. We have the Darm in our atmosphere, so our people do not need to create it anymore. But since it does not exist there, we want you to have the ability to live a full life, and if the Ingredient works right- immortality Remember do not try to use the other containers till you’ve grown. Now both of us will tell you our goodbyes
Goodbye my son, being you mother has been a short lived but wonderful time. I wish you naught but good triumph in your life. .
Son, as your father, I wish I could be there to see you grow, remember the three Arch’s of Ormarillion.

Setting: This Rp starts out in the Sunny valley of Mills, California. A small town where everybody knows everybody and Sam is the local good guy of all sorts. His best friend the foster child Olan Draco, his love interest is child hood friend Fiona Fenn. And he is just beginning to recognize the use of his powers when a vicious motorcycle gang comes to town.
The Rp will eventually go into Los Angeles, where Sam is now housed with a Genius professor and his supposed uncle-Dr. Fold. The Dr. is a intelligent scientist though…. A little absent-minded. His best friend is working with Sam who now works with the scientist. Fiona is a reporter in the same building as Sam and Olan. The iron fist of Geriam Le’fure, a powerful Businessman with a multibillion-dollar Corporation, rules the City Secretly Le’fure is in control of a secret base where all alien and otherworldly artifacts are kept. He is a corrupt man who Sam tries to help Fiona bring down all the time.

Bio: Born on Ormarillion than sent to earth to live out the rest of his life after his planet was destroyed. Raised by kind and loving Parents-Sam grew up unwary of the great power that lie within him, the only evidence of this were strange sicknesses all throughout his life.
Now he works with scientist, Dr. Renfold (Dr.Fold for short) in the labs underneath “The Free word”- a Newspaper company. His best friend is Olan Draco and the love of his life is Fiona Fenn. He's right now trying to learn how to control the powers emerging in him from the use of the Darm- or as he calls it, Super Sand.

Powers: the ability to Change his bodies form from solid to sand-enabling him to seep through walls, and be impervious to most weapons. Also throughout the Rp, Sam has the potential to grow with more powers. He also can temporarily turn other people into unsolid states by letting the power of the Darm flow through them-this is very hard to do. The Darm also makes Sam Physically fit as the strongest man, and gives him amazing reflexes.
Weaknesses: Falling into water when in Non solid state, and huge amounts of heat.

Bio: Born in Mills, California, Fiona was raised by the Family Fenn, a very rich and big part of the Mills community. But living in a life full of lies and mistrust (her father was rumored to be partners with gangsters and her mother is a mean spirited Alcoholic.) has encouraged her to gain a status of truth and bring down corruption so she became a journalist. She has always known Sam and was his Childhood friend from the day they met. She’s also a friend with Olan Draco.

Bio: His parents died in a car crash when he was 4 yrs old. Apparently they were hit in a car chase involving police and a member of a vicious motorcycle gang. He went from foster home to foster home, and ran away all the time due to negligent parents to too strict ones. Now he lives anywhere he can and is trying to get somewhere in life.
He is best friends with Sam and holds a crush on Fiona (he’s always flirting with her), he now works with Sam as a apprentice with Dr.Renfold. One night he was raiding another laboratory other than Dr. Renfolds hoping to score some loot (he’d been a thief for awhile) and fell into a vat of some strange liquid. When he emerged he gained the odd power to create temporary but real copies of himself.

Powers: Create temporary copies of himself as long as he is absorbing energy he can both control and create more copies. Without his control the copies simply fade away.
Weaknesses: The copies can be killed normally. But if Olan loses concentration on his clones for too long they all fade away.

Origin of powers: A vat of some strange electrical liquid, which Olan fell in, gave him his power.

Names and Places:
Mills California: A tiny town where everybody knows everybody, it’s next to small lake and is located inside a big valley. It’s a dreamy peaceful place to grow up. It is currently Morning.
Hellion Thomas: A Vicious gang of Motorcycle riders who problems with the police got Olans parents killed. Their leader is Dog God, and he is marking Mills as his stomping spot.
Dr. Renfold: A genius scientist in all fields, he is the only other one other than Sam’s Parents who know of his origin. He is a bit absent-minded but a very kind and caring person. He works in Pendleton labs with Sam and Olan.
Los Angeles: The city of Lost angels, full of crime, sights to see and the Free word: A building dedicated to the newspaper of the same name, The Word is known for bringing down corruption and evil.
Ormarillion: The planet where Sandstorm comes from, Some mysterious thing known as The Loch destroyed it. Little else is known about it but maybe more will found out as the Rp goes on.
More will be added as the Rp goes on.

Notice: the Rp timeline goes like this
1. First part of the Rp happens just as Garis's ship (Sam Smithson) lands in front of the Smithson Farm. It is July Fourth and the whole family is having a party,
2. The next part happens right begins right before Sams 18th birthday and shows his reaction to the message on the ship given to him.
3. The third part shows Sam in his budding life in Los angeles in Pendleton labs.

INTRO:
Jill walked out into the porch, she looked up at the stars-wondering to herself. The doctor in Mills had recently told her she couldn't have children. James and her had been trying for weeks, but now she wondered if she will ever have the happiness in holding a child that was hers. James appeared from the door- it was Fourth of july and the Family was having a reunion for it. A barbeque had been set and fireworks had gone off. James had asked her if she felt up to the reunion in the first place- he has said, "If Ya don't feel like it Gillian, we don' t have to do it." But she has actually insisted on the Party happening. Somehow having the whole family here allieviated the sadness, but james knew that she was still depressed and asked her, "How ya doing Jill?" She turned around to see him, he was right there. Holding her in his arms she cried a bit. But than James said, "It'll be alright....It'll be alright." He looked as he cradles her, a shooting star appeared in the sky-he pointed at it and said, "Look Jill, look up there, Make a wish." She stared at it for a sec than said suprised, "Hey...Its coming our way!" And she was right, the star- fell through the sky hurtling at great speed till it hit the ground with huge force. It had landed on the Fourth of July.
