but i wandered into the choicer's guild to see their stupidity at work- and it is. they are honestly tring to say that abortion is not taking the easy way out, now. and of course, taking it too far by saying " well, i'm not pregnant now, so i'm being lazy lollerskates1!!!!"
for any choicers who come in here who want to read this- no, dipshit. if you're not pregnant, you're not being lazy simply because you are not shirking a responsibility. when you become pregnant, if you decide to kill your kid, you ARE being lazy. you are taking the easiest way out of a situation you put yourself into, at the cost of a life. adoption is being lazy too, but not at the cost of a life.
oh, and all you guys in the pro choice guild deciding to say s**t about some of us here not being female- ********. you. you're not a woman either, you don't know how it feels either. you're also not a fetus. if you really think a man has no say in abortion, stop debating either way.

Because we all know how non-plagiaristic using a button that looks almost identical to ours that says "Pro-Life because we can't get laid" is!
I want to know why women have abortions if it's not the easiest option for them. Do they go out of their way to do the hardest thing they can because they like to kill humans? I always heard it was done because of finances/not wanting children/health/etc. Not that it was done because it was harder than the other options but it was worth it because a human died. That seems kind of bloodthirsty to me. I always assumed that women who aborted did so because it was easier than having a baby. If abortion is in fact harder than having a baby, what are they complaining about?

lymelady Because we all know how non-plagiaristic using a button that looks almost identical to ours that says "Pro-Life because we can't get laid" is! rofl And to that I say: b***h, plz. How about "pro-choice because I don't know how to use a condom?" Or "because I give crappy blowjobs?" Quote: I want to know why women have abortions if it's not the easiest option for them. That anyone like that actually exists scares me. Sort of like how lots of serial killers start out torturing animals... Abortion is also more expensive than having a baby. (Not keeping one, though, I mean just having it) You don't *have* to eat more when you're pregnant, and if you can't afford insurance or a hospital visit you can have your baby there free. And then you can just leave it at one of those "Safe Places."

i thought it was $3000 to have a child in a hospital? of course they could do it free at the time, but wouldn't it be put on, like, their tab or something? but either way, money is no excuse. she probably should have thought of her financial position before she plugged her hole.

When I was in college and unemployed, I went to Charity Hospital in nola, and they put you on a sort of free insurance plan based on your income. Same with anyone who winds up in any hospital without insurance or the means to pay--they work out a sliding scale fee or payment plan based on your income. I know the hospital I work at sees quite a few homeless people. Medically unnecessary abortions, however, are elective surgery and as such rarely covered by any insurance plan.

Having to pay for the privilige of having children sounds so Alien to me. But then again, I live in Canada, where we don't have to pay for that. No matter what though, whether its free or you have to pay for it; if abortion is cheaper than going to a hospital to have a baby or not, doesn't make it any more right to do.

A female friend of mine once said "Any person calling themselves a 'lady' while at the same time arguing that it's ok for women to have the right to kill people is hardly a lady at all." So if they are going to use that argument, what right do they have to make such a statment anyway?

I actualy saw a sign at that big pro 'choice' demonstration in washington that said 'i only regret that i'm too old to have more abortions' Funny how they never printed THAT one in the papers...

I know this statement is kinda on the religious side and might be kinda obvious to some of you here, but I just figured out something from this thread that I've been wondering lately. It has to do with the sin of sloth from the seven deadly sins. I kept trying to figure out how sloth could constitute sin, and now I realize that being so lazy or uncaring as to take the easiest way out is an example of how sloth is considered a deadly sin. Example of abortion, being so lazy as to not give birth that you'd actutally kill someone in order to get out of it.

abortion is a disgusting lump of 5 of the 7 sins.
lust- the means by which the child was created gluttony- the hunger for pleasure without taking responsibility for the outcome avarice- how much more greedy does it get than killing to erase a consensual choice? a very pleasureable chocie at that. Pride- the feeling of superiority to ones child simply because they have the ability to lay down a strip of plastic or a few crumpled bills. Sloth- the laziness to rather kill ones child than give it life.
