It wasn't too hot. After staying up all night watching the den enterence and listening to the thudding of his heart Wyatt had been more than willing to sleep away most of the morning. Sleep had been slow to come that night. After all, yesterday was the day the pup had first discovered the small irregularity of his heart beat. But today wasn't as hot as yesterday, so it was with little regard that the white and black pup had decided today was a day to play.
So the waking up part had taken a bit of time. Why wouldn't it have? Sleeping was a joy of life. Sleep was to be appreciated and the time in took to fully wake up should always be accepted.
Grogily the pup stumbled and stretched at the enterence of his parent's den. He didn't take the time to wonder about his sisters, but he didn't wonder if Sawyer would play with him today. Wyatt had been out of the den very few times but he'd watched the world outside of it and it made him very curious.
The ground itself was nothing special, but the warmth of the sun he could feel soaking into his back. A pleasant feeling. With a yawn he turned his head towards the den. "Hey Sawyer? You up?"
