First and foremost, the rules.
ichi. thou shalt not be cruel to thy guild members: we're a co-op. cooperative. :]
ni. thou shalt stay on topic: this is a rule we will be lenient with, since almost all sub-cultures find ways to over-lap into one another, but your sister's pet chimp has nothing to do with Miyavi. :]
san. thou shalt not stretch out pages with giant pictures: we love pictures here at the co-op, but we don't love pictures that are bigger than the page. please re-size them, and if you don't know how, just ask me and i'll be glad to do it for you. :]
shi. thou shalt not stray from general japanese topics: if a japanese artist or a store is located in your area, that's fine to discuss it. it is also okay to talk about american/other cultural influences in japan-- as long as japan is the main focus. :]
go. thou shalt not act is if thy is god because "thine can speak in japanese better than thou"**: in otherwords, don't show off. :] we would appreciate knowing what you're saying. don't be mean to people who can't speak it. they aren't posers or 'bad fans', they're probably just not into learning the language. :] it's possible, trust me.
roku. thou shalt refer everyone you know!: we're a small guild now, but with everyone's help, we can make this guild bigger. plus, making sub-forums isn't cheap. ;_; please make it easier on me by paying the entrance fee. it's really not much, you can get it from one or two posts. :] thank you.
shichi. thou shalt be dedicated: come to visit often. feel free to post anything japanese-related you wish! we love hearing from EVERYONE! :]
nana. thou shalt be nice the owner: she's a meanie if you aren't nice, and you might get promoted if you're good. :]
that's pretty much it for the rules! follow these, and it'll be a wonderful experience! ^_^
**= if you have to write something in japanese, write it in romanji AND actual japanese characters. :3
