My mom just asked me that, as I sit here coughing so hard I can barely breathe. As if it isn't apparent that yes, I do need something for my cough. So, like a smartass I reply: "No, I rather enjoy hacking up a lung." She got pissy and told me to knock it off.
She's really pushed my buttons today, though. She let my cat outside after I asked her not to, because he still has stitches and he's still sore and he could still pop open his wound. Then she says to me, "Oh he'll be fine." and he goes missing for five hours.
Then some of her friends came over, and came into the house without knocking. Now, I thought that was horribly rude, and I told her so. "You don't just walk into someone's house without knocking." -- "Well I knew they were coming over." ... whether or not you knew they were coming over, they should have knocked on the damn door! D;
My parents are more childish than I am. Maybe that's why I have such a hard time leaving.
There's a discussion here but I'm not going to point it out. I'm in too much pain. <3

.. but not me.
I see myself as the absolute least important thing in the world (I'm sure I've said that before) so when I actually bother to try and seek help, I feel very awkward and out of place, and like I'm annoying everyone.

THat's a real role reversal. o.o Yeah...at worse I had to give my mom and dad the money I earned from odd jobs I took. sweatdrop It is sad to say that parents are nothing but overgrown teenagers...but in some cases that can be the truth. Adulthood sometimes doesn't come at all to certain people. Don't be so hard on your parents for floundering around. I just pity them...besides...you never know when you are wasting your time being mad and may lose your parents. sweatdrop It happened to me.

Jinn- I'm not mad, I don't hate my parents or anything. I'm just annoyed. They aren't like teenagers, they're like children. They refuse to get real jobs.
