Introduction

Welcome to the thread. x3 This is an interest thread for a pack idea Ary and Jestari are working on. Feel free to post, ask questions, etc.! We love ideas and we love brain storming, so the more the merrier. But remember, this pack is going to be extremely rp based. So if you don't like to rp a lot or don't have time...don' try to join as an offical member.



-Why A "Gypsy" Pack?

--Because I for one know I have a lot of wolves who don't like the idea of staying in one place or having strict ranks. I also know that I don't like being in big packs that never rp. Small, rp oriented is what we're aiming for. And being in this pack shouldn't limit your character to meeting other characters, since the pack travels.



-What is the Basic Premise of the Pack?

--The pack is going to be based tightly around friend and family ties. The pack will be peaceful, but that doesn't mean they'll be weak pushovers. They just prefer peace to conflict. Getting the most out of life is one of the main goals of the pack so it is sure to be fun yet relaxed.

Plans

-How is this going to start IC?

-- Ieshia, my wandering female, is going to meet a couple other wandering wolves and make some ties of friendship. She'll then get the idea that perhaps they could travel as a whole, as a pack. Whether or not she will be the offical alpha is yet to be seen.


-Does my wolf have to stay in the pack? What if they just want to visit and wander in and out?

-- That's fine too, as long as they are friends with someone in the pack. :3 Since the pack is based on family and friendship, guests are more then welcome. This situation is best for those who like the pack idea but don't think they can commit to rp.


-Will there be ranks?

--Yes, but the actual bounderies and responsibilities will be loose. For example, they'll be an alpha. The alpha will lead in choices, especially in hard times, but will take advice from all packmembers. The beta is kind of like the leader that steps up when the alpha isn't able, or just helps the alpha when the need arises.

Personality: Ieshia is a warm hearted wolf, just like her coat color. She is relatively friendly towards everyone and loves company. As much as she loves being around others she likes to travel, seeing what she can of the land. She likes to get the most out of life and can't be seen as depressed in most situations. She's also very good at comforting others with her strong character and sense of empathy.
















Name: Duhkha
Gender: Male
Future Rank: Uncertain
Personality: Shy, and more than willing to negotiate rather than fight. He has had some serious self confidence and self worth issues in the past, but is slowly but surely getting over them. Beneath all that, Duhkha's really just a fuzzpuppy that likes to have friends and relax. >3> Almost no one gets to see that, though. He takes a while to get to the point where he can trust someone; but after that trust's been earned, he's very loyal.

Possible Rank: Doesn't really matter -shrugs- She's not very useful for anything, cause she can't see, so maybe a storyteller or something?

Personality: Gentle, not willing to fight unless she absolutely has to. She isn't very touchy about her blindness, but she is frightened easily. She doesn't really make friends too easily, and it's hard for her to trust, but she is very loyal once she befriends someone. She was abandoned by her family as a pup, because she was blind, so she doesn't really understand family.

Why: Cause she never had family, or friends, and she didn't want to commit herself to a strictly ruled pack/wasn't permitted to join any, and since she's getting older, it's easier for her to find friends, or family, that she'll be able to depend on.

Would You Commit to Rp: Even though I have extremely limited computer time right now, and most other times, yes. I love rp with her, because it's a challenge for me ^^
