I finally have a friend in real life that I hang out with that is totally cool about me being bisexual. I told him a while ago and he was just so awesome about it and very supportive from the beginning. He gets mad at people when they make gay jokes and stuff. He also knows when I get upset about it and does anything he can to make me smile and help me feel better.

Today was a perfect example of how supportive he is of me. We were walking towards Subway(where there is this guy that we think likes Scott). We were talking about a friend liking every girl he knows. So he was gonna ask him about one of our friends if he thought one of our friends was pretty. Well we were joking around and he asked me if I thought Janet was pretty. I said sure but Erin is more. I didn't even think about it when it came out. It just did. He just smiled at me and said right on and laughed a little.

I just adore Scott. He has helped me be more free and more open about my sexuality. He is one of the only three people who has ever really accepted. One of my other friends is gay so he was happy that I came out to him. The other being my sister, which she is so cool about it and I have told her some of the bad experiences I've had about it.

So do any of you have someone that makes you feel like Scott does for me? Do you have friends who are truely supportive of your sexuality?

Happy for you mrgreen .

I have someone like that. She's my best friend, and I could tell her anything. And she'd love me anyways. She's so cool like that.

aww! sweeite thats amazing that you have someone like that. mrgreen

When I first came out, it was intereting...usally most of your friends run away for a little while...I happened to attract more friends... who just happened to be Bi and Lesbian. ^^; So I know how it feels to have someone who's there to say: "It's ok." and to help you feel better about it as well.

Aww, that stinks. Well, you better stay in touch with him, cause awesome people like that are getting hard to come by. Good luck!

I can't really relate to that situation (since I'm straight and don't have a reason to come out sweatdrop )...but I do have close friends...usually I tell them things...though I don't think I can tell them all of it...

I wonder if my cousin feels that way about me? He's talked to me a lot about his sexuality...and I've been pretty comfortable and supportive about it (except for when I first found out...in which for some reason, I was saddened, but now it's no big deal). 3nodding

I'm going to try and keep in touch, and he says he might come back to England for Uni...

That's awesome! Most of my friends helped me be more open with my sexuality, but my sister helped me the most. She helped me through the times when people (including family members) told me that bisexuality doesn't exist, and she was just generally supportive.

I've been that friend, though. It feels so good to know that you can help make someone feel more comfortable in their skin. Just as good as it is to have someone do the same for you.

Again, that's incredible, and I'm so happy for you! =D

I don't in real life, but I'm glad that you do. I told my one friend who said that he might be but we haven't said anything else about it. But he was ok with it.
