Um, Nintendo-wise, probably Princess Peach.
All-time favorite so far is MOMO from the Xenosaga series.

Samus is good, only because the gameplay was good.
I didn't like the storyline of losing your powerups in the begining and winning them back.
Link...how many master swords does he have???
Mario is classic. He can never die. The first big face in Nintendo history. Too old
Luigi, same, but the second popular Nintendo character. Hey, everyone needs a sidekick.
The princess can't even defend herself after how many times she has been captured...
Princess Zelda: I haven't played many Zelda games to the point to know her well enough...
Kirby: The begining series was good, but then it starts repeating itself and got boring.
King Dedede: A bad guy. What more can I say?

Confornio King Dedede: A bad guy. What more can I say? Actually, King Dedede was a good guy in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.
