in the anime the lines "I will carve my soul into you" {to Rubedo} were very good, they told me more about the way albedo was feeling, when Rubedo left him there so that Rubedo could live- they also showed more {in the Encephalon {sp} scene} of Rubedo caring about what he did, he completly broke down.
Albedo woke up from his dream of the past sweating and panting, then he sees the Kirshwasser gone and he screams- i never imagined Albedo doing that... not screaming at least, because he always hides his pain to help his brother.
she came with the glass of water and he slapped her- when i first saw this {a picture of him slapping her} i was thinking- oh- it's just Albedo being Albedo.
then i found out the reason and i was wondering- wait a minute... that was Rubedo's fault, why take it out on her... then i realised that he was... hmm... can't think of a word for it...
then we find out why the Kirshwasser went out of her way to get him water... that was... hmmm interesting and...
also reminds me- i just realised why the Kirshwasser went into the clinic, she probably wanted to be noticed...
Albedo hates it when people leave him- expecially his brother, and so do the Kirshwassers, being neglected by thier father... being called the children of madmen.
At the beginning Albedo says {to the Kirshwasser} "won't you heal me? You abandoned me; won't you heal the pain in my heart?"
and she agrees to return to him if that's what he wishes.
so yeah, i'll continue ranting about the poetry of Albedo and the Kirshwasser{s} later, i have a headache.

You left an integral part out. Albedo was willing to end Shion's life and gave the Kirshwasser a choice. The girl lives and come with me, or maybe seeing Shion's blood and guts will make you come with me. I haven't seen all of the episodes as of yet so I can't make any flat opinions of Albedo other than my first opinions from the game (which are really mixed anyway) so once I see all of the episodes maybe I'll end up contradicting myself.

lol, the choice doesn't matter, he would've went back to her. the last few episodes prove that. she
Almost killed Shion and her sister [MOMO] for Albedo
because Albedo was one of the only people who cared about her. that's what i meant by that. besides, i don't see anyone caring about Shion's death.
Also, she did say 'if that is what you wish, not- don't kill her and i'll come back. i wish Shion would die, or do what Cherenkov said- at least.

Don't speak for everyone about not caring if Shion dies. I actually like her character. And if she died, where would Xenosaga be now?

A story with one less always asking questions girl.
i don't speak for everyone, i speak for the majority.
like the majority doesn't like MOMO's 2nd voice.
She's quite annoying, and i don't think she's that important, at least- not in the first two, i haven't played the third, but unless she's the center of the universe or something, it doesn't seem she can make it up.
i just think she needs a major attitude adjustment- though i do know she has fans. but heck, everyone has fans.
Hojo has fans >.<

I'm an Albedo fan and an Axel fan!
I haven't seen too much Xenosaga anime but the choice over Shion did seem to make the little german cherry go. (Don't feel like spelling her name right).

I love Albedo even more now because of his smexy attitude, and the way he goes about things with Jr. now.

Wasn't it brandy? ahh, whatever She clearly states that her will is to be with Albedo. it changes at the end though [very end] to _NOT TELLING SPOILER_ but before that it seems to me like she wanted to be with Albedo. after all, he is very... err... convincing- being one of the few people to care about them.
