Is it just me, or anyone born after the year 1991 has the most difficult time not creating spam or repeats? As well, their posts usually consists of " NE 1 LIKE HALO? or WUT IS UR FAVORIT GAME?" Maybe not so many caps, but most likely to use L33T speak type wording.
(No offense to anyone who does not act this way that is from around that year of birth, I know people out there who ARE that old and seem pretty intelligent.)
What = Wut Any = NE You = U People = PPL Why= Y etc...
As well, another interesting thing I noticed is that newbies around that age also tend to have avatars that have wider eyes, and more wild hair styles, as well are almost always not wearing much (naturally). Then the older, and more seasoned gaians usually have narrower eyes and more controlled hair (just a random observation)
Anyways, this was just bothering me. I'm not sure what kids these days are being taught, as far as internet etiquette goes, I can only assume that they haven't been taught much in that department... Or maybe have just been taught from the wrong source in the first place.
Maybe because I'm older I just don't understand, or might be irritated more easily by things like that. I just don't understand why it is so hard to have a conversation online in a clear way, even at that age.
Simply, I've noticed more "newbies" in the VG section than ever before. More people who act/type that way.
It was just something to think about...

any word with less than three syllable or 10 letters does not need an abbreviation. That's just lazy. Horribly, terribly lazy. Even I'm not that lazy, and I'm pretty damn lazy!

If you use shortened words like "wut" and "u" in a post that makes sense, it's not that big of a deal to me. When people use them in crappy posts like "HALO IS THE BEST, WUT U THINK??????????????????????????????????????????"...then I mind. It shows a lack of intelligence...and keyboarding skills.
