Pretty much what I mean here is: Do you imagine stories and the like regarding your own created characters in Disgaea, or any other Nippon Ichi game, for that matter? ^_^;;

Here are a few o' mine:

Mordranna: started of as a mage - I forget which, offhand! - and eventually worked her way up to to Paladin status, and is more or less Laharl's right-hand warrior. (( Game play stuff: has undergone at least 10-12 transmigrations, and *could* be a Divine Majin if I really wanted to, but then, I rather like the Paladin sprite for her! whee Was about Level 800 prior to her last transmigration, and I have her gain at least 100 more levels than the previous TMion each, if that gives you any idea of her power level. Is also Laharl's pupil, and has a male Cosmic Hero named Chuck, and a Knight named Tarja as a pupil. )) She is a kind and honorable fighter, and looks out for her comrades, including those under her command. She also considers Chuck a little brother, and Tarja a little sister. ^^ Surprisingly, she also has a good rapport with Flonne, and comes to her on issues she disagrees with Laharl on.

Chuck: He was originally an Eternal Fist, who, in an amusing transmigration, was all 3 mages, as well as a cleric, named Charlene. However, do not mention this to him, as he'll most likely punch you out, and this is an issue he's sensitive about - Laharl's teasing notwithstanding! (( Well, until Flonne and Etna have some words with Laharl about it. )) whee Even so, during his time as "Charlene", he was diligent in his magical studies, and hopes to put this knowledge to use in service to Mordranna.

Snake Eyes: He and his brother Storm Shadow have served Laharl impeccably in many capacities, including stints as Divine Majins, before finally becoming space pirates. Both are training hard, and aspire to aid Laharl in his campaign against Baal.

Fly: Once a human space marine, he came to the Netherworld during the human's ill-advised campaign. Finding his calling, he swore allegiance to Laharl, and became a space pirate. "My gun is yours!" is his standard call to Laharl when he's called up for duty. (( Three guesses where I got *that* name! whee ))

I have several more, including pupils of Etna and Flonne. Though I'll leave it for now, and give you the floor. ^_^

Okay here I go! I am working on Five Nippon Ichi based fanfics. Disgaea and Makai Kingdom and Phantom Brave! My Nippon Ichi stories have a dark touch to them. I haven't played Makai Kingdom yet, Just a small sample of the Japanese version; but I RP as two characters in another Nippon Ichi based role play.

Olber - He's a scout. A cute one at that and lacks height. He's only 5ft tall. He has a scar over his left eye and purple colored eyes. He's a pretty easy going demon. He has delt with humans, monsters and other demons. He also stands up to Laharl pretty well and finds it funny when Laharl throws his fits. Olber strives to be a Geo Master and a Marksdemon. He carries two guns. One is called Paradox and the other is called Stanley-Wilshire. That's his favorite gun and it's banned in the Netherworld. He maybe a kid and he's excitable also. He's pretty mature for a young demon also. He is picked on alot by other scouts. Olber also don't wear the common scout get up. He wears a Safari vest. He also wears a spiked collar which keeps him from going beserk. (Saiyuki refernce) When his collar or broke or taken off, Olber becomes a rampaging demon, thriting for blood. Beserk Olber looksl ike regular Olber, only has longer hair, a fiendish look, longer fangs and claws.



Rachar - Rachar is a moody warrior with a bad attitude. He's an old salt-demon also. He has many scars from varoius battles. Rachar also toats around a huge ax and wanders the Nether Region. He hates humans. He also acts like he dislikes Olber and other young demons. Deep down inside, he likes the kid.

Rachar is also missinghis eye, thanks to a Male Fighter.

Sarone - What can I say about this stylin' ninja with sunglasses?

He's a ladie's demon. He likes to be around females, it don't matter if they are human, demon, Neko Manta. He protects them. He's also extreamly vain. He takes care of his looks. He also likes to battle and battle protecting a female demon. His attitude is pretty calm and cool.

Rugi - Rugi, A.k.A Rugimaru.

Rugi is a red haired scout, dispite he wears his goggles around his neck. He also has long hair, which he keeps it well taken care of. He also has a femme-boy look to him, which makes him being mistaken as a female. Rugi is also Olber's best friend in the whole Netherworld. They almost act like brothers more then friends. Rugi also has a brother named Roark.

Roark - Roark is Rugi's older brother. He is more intrested in tinkering with machines and having prinnies help him, then fighting. Roark is a Geo Master. His best friend is Yaz, a Ranger with a mohawk and a party animal attitude.

Roark also likes Olber and thinks the kid is cute, but don't like the kid's 20 questions. Roark also has a strong hatred aginst humans and Laharl, thus him and his brother living in a barren part of the Netherworld.

Brisbane - Makai Kingdom Demon!

Brisbane may look crabby, he's pretty laid back and a great fighter. Yes, he has a tail. I know Makai Kingdom demons don't have tails, but Brizzy does. Brizzy is also an Aussie demon. He has a little Brother named Melborune. Brisbane is lazy, likes food and battles. He hates hving his tail pulled. Brisbane also lost his brother in a battle.

All the time, but I always seem to forget what I day dreamed about.

Oh yeah. I too tend to give a "sprites be damned" principle to the mental images of my characters. ^_^;;

Snake Eyes tends to wear all-black from head to toe, has a scarred face, and is mute.
Storm Shadow tends to favor a white/grey/black camo patterned outfit, which is more akin to a ninja as opposed to the "standard issue" space pirate outfit.
(( Yep, I'm a G.I. Joe fan-girl! whee ))
Mordranna tends to favor a silvery white armored plate-like outfit, and has shimmery wings that are an odd hybrid of a faerie and an angel.

I rather like Olber, Roarke, Rachar and Rugi. ^_^ I'm guessing that you like the scout type classes? And, I love the character pics! You, or whoever drew them, has true talent. 3nodding

I think that's what's great about Disgaea. You can follow the main cast, but you could also make up your own characters and never use the main characters(though who could NOT like the Laharl and co?) I didn't get to do as much character/story creating when I did play it the first time, since I was just finishing it to finish it. I'll relax and enjoy it more the next time! 3nodding

okies here's my few characters (pix will be added as soon as I can find, scan and color them! ^^)

Steph: Steph has a scar going down his left eye and balck hair with red flecks.
Steph started out as a warrior under the wing of Laharl. But. soon he proved to be a great fighter with alot of potential. After some training, it was obvious to Laharl that in order for Steph to reach his highest potential, he needed to be transmigrated. After being transmigrated into a Cosmic Hero, Steph began training against demons much higher level than himself. Upon reaching lv200 Steph decided that he needed a pet to help him just in case he came upon a challenge that proved too difficult. He chose a Dragon, which he named Onikain.
After training Onikain for awhile, it was clear to Steph that the duo come ultimately become even more powerful than Laharl and maybe that they would be able to overthrow him one day. In battle Steph doesnt care who he hits, just as long as it dies and he gains more Exp. Due to this way of thinking, his allies tend to stay as far away from him as possible. When there only 1-2 enemies left on the battle field and they are in a line, Steph uses Dimension Slash on them, not caring how many allies he hits.

Onikain: Onikain came about when Steph decided that he needed a pet to accompany him in battle. Steph shared most of his pwer with Onikain, and because of that, Onikain is one of the most powerful monsters in the team.
Unkwown to Steph, Onikain is actually a Ronin called Jodey who has been cursed into Dragon form by Marjoly the witch.
