Personally, I never had my work stolen or if I have; I never noticed it. But how about you guys? Or have you ever reported someone for stealing art?
It doesn't even have to be on here; it can be other places like Deviart, etc...
I reported someone on Deviart for stealing Aoi Nagesa's art work, claiming it was there own then on top of that they said it was crappy work. x.x

Well, I did this really huge oil pastel drawing of these pink flowers and they were hung in the office area of the school. A couple of weeks passed and I noticed that mine was missing..... I asked my art teacher and she said that it fell and that another teacher/admin person had it. I went to her and asked if she had it and she said that she was going to take all of them and put them on greeting cards to give to the school sponsers. Of course, I and a few others were alittle perturbed that our names weren't going to be on the carrds at all. My mom and I tried realy hard to get my drawing back, but she kept delaying or avoid us. Finally she was giving them back, saying that it "would cost too much to put names on them" But.....My whole advanced art class got there's back except for me. stare I was furious and demanded mine, but she wasn't even at the school! Finally, in the last period of the day, she came with mine.....Why did she only have mine and held it for three additional hours? Well, it's now framed in my living room, but I can only hope that it was reproduced without my knowledge.... confused My mom was about to ring someone's neck if we didn't get it back! xd

I've reported a fair few tracers, and one outright theft. Months before DevART took action...

I wonder if your outright thief is the same as the one I reported... was it a girl who stole this image for herself; then making a stupid explination about how it just came to her... i seen a girl around here using that thiefs image she created in her sig...

No, my direct theft was a girl who stole some Selina French art, put a filter over it, and claimed it.
