I just heard the best thing ever at work the other day!!! this is something that a girl at work told me......this story happened to her bishops son-in-law who is a home salesman.

He was showing some lady around to different houses. When they had been to about 3 houses she asked "now mormons dont practice polygamy do they?".....his answer " Mormons havent done that for a long time...it is now against the law and we follow the laws of the land"..... a few houses later the lady asked again " now you are sure that polygamy isnt practiced any more. Right?"....he answered again "yes i am sure"....at about the last house she stoped and turned to him and asked one more time "Mormons DO NOT practice polygamy right!!"....he then said "Why do you keep asking me that?".....she then replied " almost every house we have been to...they have a picture of the same grandpa" she then pointed to a picture of Pres. Hinckley

aww that is so funny. i actually know someone from my ward back home that is related to Pres. Hinckley somehow. pretty kewl. ^_^

That's such a cute story! It's funny. A girl in my seminary class is a decendent of Woodrow Woodruff(did I spell it right?).

i think you mean Wilford Woodruff..lol...and one of me friend that i have known for about *counts* well since i was 3 i think is his great great *doesnt know how many greats* grand-daughter

i am so happy that all of you like that story!! when the girl @ work told it to us((every one that i work with durring the night is LDS)) we all had to stop what we were doing and sit down. we were laughing that hard!!!
