Linath walked into the ring, appearing to be neither worried nor confident. Inside, however, she was terrified. She stopped and turned to face Alex, giving her a little nod and a tentative smile. "May the best fighter win!" she called over, readying herself.

Harry sat in the stands, half watching the start of the match, and partly looking for Adele; she'd be here watching her sister, right?

The older Adele scaled the steps up into the stands, scanning around. When her eyes fell on Harry, though, she smiled brightly. She sneaked up the stairs and down his row quickly before falling into a seat beside him with a soft 'thump!' "Hey there." she said softly, grinning happily up at him.
Linath, hit with the blow, stumbled a bit with a groan, feeling the fire cut across her skin. She hissed a bit to dull the pain before lifting her eyes to look up at Alex with a little half-smile. "Good show!" she called to her before her tail quickly turned its head to face Alex. "Venom Shot!"

Alex grimaced, though managed to singe most of the needles within moments, killing the toxin. She nodded, not being much the verbal type.

Harry hadn't seen Adele sneaking down the row and was surprised when she landed in a seat next to him. He couldn't help but stare for a moment; she had grown, and she was even more beautiful for it.

Once again, the pain rippling across her skin was horrid, but Linath found a way to push it to the back of her mind. All comments laid aside now, she shot another wave of poison at her. "Venom Shot!"
Adele smiled again, nudging a lock of her multicolored hair away from her golden face. "Thank you." she said in a shy fashion, not being able to help but laugh a little at how she sounded. She quickly turned her eyes to the arena, trying to keep herself from blushing. "Alex seems to be doing well."

Alex was beginning to falter. She knew better than to think she was invincible, but . . . this was just too easy . . . You okay? she asked before attacking.

Harry nodded. It wasn't Alex he was worried about anymore.
Linath going to be alright? he asked, more concerned about Linath than Alex at this point.

Linath gasped a bit as the rippling pain spread over her. She looked up at Alex and nodded a little after drawing in a sharp breath. "Don't worry about me!" she called, shooting out another attack at her. "Acid Needle!" she called, needles shooting out of her and flying towards Alex.
Adele shook her head a little bit, furrowing her brow. "I don't think so, no. I'm worried about her."

Harry sighed heavily; Linath was fast falling behind.
Well . . . if she looses, I'll heal her immediately. Alex'll be too tired . . . she could win if she manages to poison Alex though . . . that's some hefty damage there he mused to himself.

Linath once again shifted, crying out a little at the pain. Her eyes watered a bit. Her family would be so angry at her when she lost this battle. She could feel it. The battle was already lost. The disapproving eyes of Draco, Adele, and Alma filled her mind. At least Niara would be there for her. She turned her eyes up to look at Alex, blinking them to clear them as her tail shot out another glob of poison. "Venom shot!"
Adele nodded quickly, drawing in a deep breath when she saw Linath falter a bit. "Darn it...the poor girl...why did Alma even let her enter? She knew that Linath wasn't the fighter in the family! She's the smart one." She was murmuring moreso to herself in worry, trying to resist the urge to close her eyes to block the scene out.
((G'bye, Broken! ^^ Again!

Harry could see that Adele was having a hard time watching the sight of her sister. Harry put an arm around her shoulders in an effort to comfort her, hesitantly at first, but soon with a bit more confidence.
It'll be over soon was all he could think of to say
Alex didn't like this one bit . . . she was basically hitting the girl when she was down! True, that last attack had had a bit of a bite, but . . . she still didn't like it. She mouthed "I'm sorry" and practically whispered her next attack.

Linath fell to her knees with another soft cry, tears coming to her eyes once again. "...Sorry, guys..." she whispered, turning her eyes up slightly to look towards Adele, before promptly passing out.
And, with that, Adele was on her feet and moving as fast as she could down the stairs. She was aware that she was leaving Harry behind, but all that she could think of was getting to her sister. A few moments later, she was sprinting through the ring and kneeling beside her sister. "Linath....Linath." she whispered, lightly shaking the older girl's shoulder.
Linath opened her eyes ever so slightly, peering up at her little sister. She moved a hand to take the one that Adele offered to her, and, with Adele's help, made her way out of the ring.
