Yea or nay? For me, it's a nay. Myspace allows others to see personal information, and it even hurts your chances at getting into a good college. *sigh*
I do have an LJ, though. It's friends-only and I love it!

Coolz. I'm not sure on the college thing though. I will be finding out in about 1-5 years if I go to the national guard that is. But, I'm a senior now so I will find out sooner or later.

If you and another student have the same grades, one of the things some colleges will do now is look both of you up on Myspace to see if you have one. Myspaces compromise personal information and lead to identity theft, so the colleges don't want to teach students who are likely to have id's stolen from them.

I'm going to the national Guard and I dont put my real info on anything I join. So I'm not worried about it. But, thanks for the heads up on that.

Okay, ya, i guess you could do that.. well, ya, it happens. One time I commented my adress when on someone's page, for my party thingy, and ya... i deleted the comment right when I realized it wasn't the smartest thing to do...

One time I commented my adress when on someone's page, for my party thingy, and ya... i deleted the comment right when I realized it wasn't the smartest thing to do... Yep, it happens all the time. Especially if you give out your full name...because from that, one can find a phone number, an address, and eventually a SSN...It's why I encrypt all my information online before sending it. Even a Caesar shift makes information much safer!
