me and my roomate plan on getting this very shortly as an import so we don't have to stab our ears with cheese sticks as we hear our favorite characters for over a decade being butchered stressed gonk

Gihn_the_wolf I havent played the game but i hav heard that it isint very good compaired to the 2-d ones. but I still want to try it. and yah I love the japanese voices. Poweh gaiseh! LoL Terry. MI1 wasn't up to the standard of the 2D ones, but it was still very fun to me. MI2 seems to be above and beyond the old standards, but thats only opinion i've gained through previews and videos. i may import this too... but i want english subs

I agree, I've heard of bad voiceacting...but MI1 was just... scream
Subs would be greatly appreciated, or at least more talented VA's...

(DV) Yes! Someone agrees with me.........even my friend who doesn't like subs was like "WTF!!! o.o Terry!!! K'!!!! nooooooooo!"
x.x it really put a damper on the game and made it difficult to enjoy.........(the mute button came in very handy) I hope the people who handle this game when it comes to the states has some common decency and puts the japanese track in......

YES ahahah!!! I LOVE Ioris character but they just killed him in english xd The laugh is just not the same at all rofl
Still I enjoyed the game to bits and I got a kick out of the sistem, it was quite unique, not fully 2-D not really a 3-D fighter heart

i didn't really hear anything wrong with the english voices when i played with them on, but i just keep playing with the voices set to japanese... considering thats what i'm used to anyway biggrin

... well, on the PAL version, it was a setting in the options... but you had to go back and set it each time because there was a bug that always returned it to english when you load the game.
but yeah, japanese voices were included in my version.
anyway...
MAXIMUM IMPACT 2 IS SO ULTRA AWESOME AND SWEET
and i've got two kof arcade controllers for my ps2 now biggrin
much more fun

Yupyup, KoF 2006 is based on MI mechanics, and as Oro told me, it's the most awesome game, lots of extras, challenges and hidden stuff waiting to be unlocked
