I love them. Have always loved them. But are they running out of steam? This is a serious thread xd
They have been around forever and touched just about every gaming system possible, but lately all I have seen from them is one sports game after another that are basically all alike.
Discuss the mighty Mario and his brother Luigi and how they have stayed around this long. . .?
(Sorry if this is a little immature, but I was just thinking about it and decided to add to the options of discussion. heart )

There is a new Mario game coming out for the Wii. Check it out.On a side note, I thought Wario World... wasn't as good as I expected. Wario's still my favorite, though, and there's always Wario Land! (Awesomest GB game ever.) 3nodding

That was interesting, although I've yet to hear of a "Wii" system. sweatdrop Daisy has always been my favorite character (since she came out), but Wario is a trip. I love his games for the GameCube. heart

Here's the Wii, and here's Super Smash Bros: Brawl.

Because if they continue like they have been I have a feeling they will run out of ideas for this one, too. sweatdrop

Ok then. You know (off subject a bit) I wonder if the Mario series is going to start making games based off of the other characters like they have been. EX. Dokey Konga and Wario Ware Inc. I think that might be neat, too. Haha sweatdrop

Mario is running out of steam. But hey, his pension will be amazing. He's a doctor, soccer star, baseball player world class fighter, rescue worker, plumber actor, race car driver, etc. xD I think they need to stick with Mario Kart SSB and good, old platformers. None of the stupid sports games; they are too much.
New Super Mario Bros was amazing. It was a good, old fashioned platformer. Mario Kart DS was great; a true Mario Kart game. And SSB is amazing.
I think this should be all they should use Mario for.
If they keep adding to his resume, I will find him and go all 'You Better Be A Fighter, Racer and Platformer Only!' on his a**.

Haha. That's so true, Malachi. All these sports games are getting tiring... Games just to fill up space or to take advantage of the popularity of the sports video gaming industry are really a waste of time.
