But that's okay.
I understand a lot of women and men have been through hell with miscarriages. And I, for one, never want to experience it. Or an abortion of that matter.
I mean, I had thought about it, with the utmost despair, last year, when I found out I was 2 months along. I didn't have a miscarriage, and I didn't go through with an abortion, and now I'm blessed with a cute little boy, almost 6 months old.
But two weeks ago, I noticed my pregnancy symptoms coming back. I have an IUD, and my gyn's nurse said that I didn't HAVE to use condoms, but it was still strongly recommended. Especially if I have multiple partners. I don't, I've been with my fiancee only, and well...who just LOVES using condoms? And for the past two weeks, I've been easily nauseated, I've had numerous headaches (another of my past-pregnancy symptoms), and my breasts have been a little achy. And, of course, I haven't menstruated.
Now, I know with an IUD, some women won't get their period after a couple of months. I can accept this. But for no reason, over my favorite hibachi plate, I felt like I was going to puke. And it wasn't that I was ill that day, or I ate something, it was sudden. BAM! I want to puke and pass out at once.
And I know I can't be "normally" pregnant. It has to be an ectopic pregnancy. Or if my luck IS really bad, it's still a uterine pregnancy. I know the ectopic will probably self terminate, if I don't get it removed first. And both ideas scare me. So does the thought of a uterine pregnancy. Scares me to the point of keeping me up at night.
In all honesty, I kind of hope it's just the IUD growing into the uterus, as horrible as that sounds.
I'm very pro-choice, but the thought of having to teriminate a tiny part of myself, after seeing what can come of something so little, it makes me...upset. I haven't cried. I told my parnter and he's worried about the procedure, or the miscarriage, or if something else is wrong. I don't want him to see me cry about this, y'know? But I'm worried about what could have been, if it wasn't for the IUD.
I'm not so depressed, really. But I'm deeply shaken. I look at my son and wonder how I could even THINK of terminating him. I love my son with all my heart and soul, and I would never want to change that, but deep down, I know that it would have been best to wait to have him.
Now, I know this is something I have to deal with. Maybe, because of my lack of period, I just THINK I may be pregnant, and because of that, my body's giving me the symptoms. Or I maybe pregnant, and I have to...remove the egg. I have an appointment set up with my gyn. next Monday, and I'm fearing the worst.
I just...don't know what to do with myself. I'm trying to keep myself busy, so I don't have to think about it, but well, it keeps popping up in my head. Even playing with my son doesn't calm me completely. I'm just a big ball of nerves.
I'm sorry that that was so long. sweatdrop

It'd be a really good idea to take at least one home pregnancy test, see what the results are, and then go see your doctor asap no matter what the test results are. If they can find out whether or not you're pregnant, if you are pregnant, then maybe they can find out if something's wrong or not.

It is okay to cry it lets you express what your feelings no one is going to hate you for it especially if they know why. I really don't have any advice I just hope that you can get through this difficult time and to move on 3nodding
P.s. Your son is adorable biggrin

Just a little information that might make you feel a little better, hopefully.
Even with an IUD in, women still have perfectly normal pregnancies. This could be because of a faulty IUD, or just bad (at least at the time) luck. You're more LIKELY to have an ectopic pregnancy, but it's not impossible at all to have a normal pregnancy.
You should check for your IUD's strings inside your v****a, to make sure it is still there...if there is no string, it is likely that your IUD has been expelled...if the string is very short, it's likely that your IUD has become embedded in your uterine wall, which can cause sickness and infection...so your sickness could be being caused by that as well. An embedded IUD is easy to sort out, but it may involve a surgery.
If your IUD seems fine, take a pregnancy test. If your pregnancy test is positive, go to your doctor to have the IUD removed as soon as you can, whether you wish to carry on the pregnancy or not. Then get the pregnancy checked, to see whether or not it is an ectopic pregnancy.
If your pregnancy test is negative, I would suggest seeing your doctor anyway, to find the cause of your sickness.
Hope that helped. =]
