Well, me and my brother talk about this kinda stuff with crossovers and stuff about the relationships between xxxHolic and Tsubasa. Also about everyone's past, the different world's and everything. It gets pretty deep, and then we usually get ourselves stumped at a dead end. XD;; So I thought I'd bring up a topic to get everyone else's opinion's up and running. So, here are some topics I'd like to bring up. o.o Feel free to also bring up other things.
1. Yuuko, Tomoyo, and Yukito seem to harvest the power of the moon based on what they wear or use. So, whatever happened to the use of the sun's power?
2. Between Fye, Tomoyo, Yukito and Yuuko, who is the stronger magician between? Of course, Yuuko is extremely powerful considering she is the dimmension witch and can grant ANY wish. But, considering transporting yourself through dimmensions, which is a different concept than transporting someone else, does that mean Fai must be somewhat near as strong?
3. To what purpose does Fay's tattoo hold?
4. (This is kind of a joke one between me and my sister. XD) Exactly what kind of relationship did Yuuko and Clow Reed have together?
5. Since the world's do include crossovers and worlds, could the worlds of the original manga exist and eventually be stumbled upon someday? Like how MKR, where there's a Mokona Kami, who would be the other version of Mokona. Or is Mokona Kami somewhat part of Modoki Mokona?
6. What are the 108 secrets of Mokona? XD
I'd bring up more, but I'm sure everyone else has their ideas and stuff they want to express. :3

the moon is used more often becasue of many belefes of mystic powers. it happens in ALOT of mangas/animes and such. Sailor Moon uses part of one version of the bamboo cutter story. inuyasha turns human when the moon disapears. the moon basicaly hods alot more "mystical" power than the sun would. Quote: 2. SPECIALY 120) Yukito, tomoyo most likly are tied. if anything, Yuki is stronger cuz he's older than tomoyo is. (plus im counting in Yue's powers from CCS) Quote: 3. i was about to lock this thread until i noticed that we only had a ENDING theory thread, not a theories in general one. good thing i noticed in time.
well....some of the questions are usually purposefully left unanswered.
oh well....its still fun trying to gues the answer anways, ne?
1)the moon is just so much more hip and happening. mad d
2)yuko is TEH powereful. period. fai...seeing that his source of magical power's*his eye* currently taken out by scary beserk syaoran-kun, it looks like we really are never gonna see his full potential. >.< ahh, well. too bad.
3)dammit, it was in vol 3!! said yuko: "the markings that made up your payment to me...
...were a device that held your magical power in check.
you magic is what it was originally meant to be."
right?
4)the world will never know...
5) thats what i hoped for, for them to travel through original CLAMP manga worlds....
but i sorta gave up on that.
nah, yuko and clow met mokona kami. then they made the twin mokonas, soel and larg.
proof can be found in holic vol 2, or the story of soel and larg.
6) thats another questions that will probably never have a full answer. mad d i wonder, why 108, though? confused

The moon is just a lot cooler than the sun xd but I think there should and may even be someone with the power of the sun, cause the sun is very VERY powerful, I mean why ignore the giant bulb in the sky?
2. Between Fye, Tomoyo, Yukito and Yuuko, who is the stronger magician between? Of course, Yuuko is extremely powerful considering she is the dimmension witch and can grant ANY wish. But, considering transporting yourself through dimmensions, which is a different concept than transporting someone else, does that mean Fai must be somewhat near as strong?
obviously first is Yuuko, then Fai I think cause transporting yourself must require more strength than someone else, then Yukito cause he transported both Sakura and Syaoran, and then lastly Tomoyo.
3. To what purpose does Fay's tattoo hold?
I agree with the thought that it either surpresses or boosts his powers, but I think he got it from Celes as I gift possibly

well hopefully Yuuko isn't Sakura's mother or anything XD but they were probably partners till their views changed so they grew apart or something.

hm I think its possible, but a second Mokona is a bit of a grey spot, I mean theres only one Yuuko right? whos to say theres more than one mokona?

A: Hm... I honestly...dont know. But it is true that the moon does hold some sort of mystical magic whatever sweatdrop and it's also correct that we shouldn't forget about it since the moon does get it's light from the sun (science class xd )

A: It would be Yuuko-san, since she's the witch of dimensions, can grant wishes, and... well, the name does say it all. Next would probably be Fai-kun, since he transported himself, then Yukito-san, and Tomoyo-chan.

A: Fai's tattoo regulates his control of magic (from what I know)
4. (This is kind of a joke one between me and my sister. XD) Exactly what kind of relationship did Yuuko and Clow Reed have together?
A: I don't know either, but they did work on the 2 Mokonas together. Yuuko knows about the cards and everything I suppose, since she has a replica of the staff in her treasure room. (I was [and still is] hoping to know more about their relationship... and...about Maru and Moro, how they came to be.)

A: it's possible... maybe... (it would be cool to see that though)

A: In the manga, there's Super Voice Imitation, Super Dramatic Power, Super Disguise, Super Sharp-Sensing (detecting true feelings), Super Magnetism, Super Suction Power, and Hyper Gravity (as of now)
in the anime, there's Voice Imitation, Extreme Acting, Extreme Sneaking-In, Extreme Transformation, and Super Sharp-Sensing (as of now)

as for the power of the sun, i only know of one being that can wield its power[so to speak]: Keroberos (2 if you count Spinnel Sun)

As for the power of the sun not being used, think about the idea of what wings and time travel is usually under. It usually refers to traveling under nightfall with the fastest speed possible. This method of travel would first have been introduced in myth where the bird was the fastest of animals and the practice of traveling under nightfall to avoid the heat of the day. This is also why we invented the airplane. It all falls under the moon's jurisdiction.

1. the moon is cooler ^-^ mayb its just more mysterious to do things at night....
2. i think yuko or clow is still the strongest
3. i have no clu 0.0 i wanna no the answer to that too
4. this i wanna no too. but at the moment i think they were just collegues...
5. wow weird....it would be cool though. i think both mokonas would be different ppl/things. it would be cool if they went to the cardcaptor world ^-^

o-o! Wow. That's a really good answer! nn;! I guess you're right, and Clamp does use a lot of legends and stuff that applies to real ones.
And there was finally use of the sun's power in episode.. erm. o.o 32 I think! They draw their power from the sun! But then again, that was a filler episode, right? n-n
