Does being a drummer instantly make you irrisistable?!
My boyfriend is a drummer, his older brother is a drummer, his little brother is a drummer. They all have girlfriends and girls begging for them all. Everyone in the drumline basically has a girlfriend all of the time. So I ask again, does being a drummer just make you irrisistable?
For some reason, drummers are naturally funny. They tell great jokes and they never cease to cheer you up. My boyfriend is a bass player and his older brother was bass capt. His little brother is still in middle school but HE even has girlfriends and he's... not so cute. Well anyways, any drummers, drummer girlfriends, drummer friends, or band geeks in perticular. Give me some feedback heart

P.S. (I know all of you drummers are smiling and nodding while reading this whether or not it is true about you or drummers.)

I'm a drummer, and I don't think that has made me "irrisistable", but some guys do ask me out just because of it. Also, our school has a bunch of guys in the drumline who haven't had girlfriends for a long while (if ever) so I guess some drummers are just more irrisistable than others. smile

I'm a drummer actully I'm the only percussionist that is a girl in my grade and the guys think there all that at every thing! rolleyes I mite be worse than them but they don't have to treat me like crap! crying

Hells yes it makes you irresistable. Drummers are the stuff! I am one of the 3 chicks we have in our drumline and it's freakin' sweet. In fact, I met my boyfriend of almost 3 years in band. He plays trumpet and I play snare! It's a great combination!

I'm the only girl in the 7 personed snare line. But I don't think that's the only thing guys are attracted to...

whybecause, it's possible that any drummer you date will love that pad more then he loves you. No offense to you, but pads are like condoms: take 'em everywhere, and use them on the ladies. wink
As for drummers being irresistable, I don't think it's the drumming, it depends on the drummer. Personally, I think that a decent amount of females are attracted to me, even though I'm nerdy as heck, simply because I'm charming. Don't deny it, you know it's true. razz

Yes, because drummers have more fun. It seems to me that the drummers are always the ones cracking jokes and being oddballs such.

Well,
I tried to vote appropiately in the pole,
But there isn't really an answer that works for me.
Over the last 7 years, I've only liked one guy that wasn't a drummer,
But I don't think it was because they were irresistable, and I dont' think the fact that they were drummers had anything to do with it. If anything, the typical drummer attitude rather then being a drummer.

I'm a drummer. I love my boyfriend more than my practice pad. I love him more than my drumkit.

There are some guys who do want to go out with me because I'm a drummer. Does that make me instantly irresistable? Hell no. I should hope that it doesn't. I think that a talent making one instantly irrisistable is the dumbest ******** thing I've ever heard.

Well I'm a drummer on the line of course but I wouldent say that being a drummer makes Me irrisistable, but some people do look at you in a more postive manner

A lot of the boys on my drumline have girlfriends. I'm the only girl, though, and I don't have a boyfriend... so I guess that only works for guys or something.
As for the drummer attitude? It just makes me laugh. We all pretend to be so cool and apathetic, and yet we practice more than most, and as much as we complain about the marching band, we all do winter drumline.
