After making and eating a good meal for herself Lyke heads down to the docks, with a pole in one hand and a pale in another. It was dusk now and the dusk fish came out and close to the docks at this hour. She knew Calico loved these fish and decided to catch a few. Lyke was FAR from being soft. She just loved to show affection and appreication to her freinds that deserved it. She sat down with her legs dangling off the edge, baited the hook, and casted it into the water. The bobber bopped on the currents seeming to go under, but to a trained eye it would be obvious to them if it really was being nibbled on by a fishie. Now, was the waiting part of the game. She waited for what seemed forever until the bobber was pulled under. Jumping to her feet she started to reel the fish in. It leaped out of the water. Silver shinning scales, 2ft long sleek fish, and a blue top tip. That was her fish. She jerked at the rod pulling it closer and leaned over scooping the fish into the bucket. Holding the wire she worked the hook out of its mouth and re-baited and casted for another.

Calico had went on one of the docks that lead the farthest out into the water. She had the loaf of bread she took from the bakery and took out her daggar. She cut the heel of the bread off and then picked at the white of the bread with her claws. She broke it into small pieces and scattered the crumbs below her in the water. Afterwards, rolling up her sleeves of her long shirt. Then, using one hand to balance herself as she was on her hand and knees and the other raised into the air, she waited for a fish to brush the surface to nibbled at the bread crumbs. Her tail flicked back and forth and her ears perked on the top of her head listening to the water. She had came to the docks long after Alanna had been there and she didn't know the girl had caught her some fish. Though, the sun was now rising and it was early so the fish would be coming after the crumbs.

Calico was too into her catch to even bother to pay attention to him. Her hand held open with her claws pointing to the water. Soon, a fish skimmed the water and she moved so fast that if you blinked, you would have completely missed her hand entering the water and grasping the fish. She held it infront of her face and sat back on her bottom, indian style. Her claws digging into it's flesh. She didn't smile, really from her catch. It wasn't the type of fish she was hoping for, but she would need a small fishing boat to go out and get the ones she wanted. They only were in deep water. Nonetheless, she took out her daggar and proceeded to clean and gut the fish.

After it was cleaned, she started to pick the meat off the bones and eat it slowly. She looked at the rest of the bread she had and decided to cut a few slices and eat her fish with some bread. While eating, she kept her eyes towards the sea and watched the sun rise. Still ignoring the man she didn't want to associate with.

Calico heard his foot tap and a small grin grew on her face. Though, her back was towards him and she started to eat slowly to get on his nerves. Her tail wrapped around her and rested on her leg as she sat.

Calico just sat there and finally finished her fish. She tossed the remaining pieces of it into the water and her tail flicked back and forth. She just ignored the two so they could have their time. Her left ear twitched a bit and she rolled down her sleeves using one of them to clean off the daggar before she put it away.

Calico didn't even look at the child. Her ear twitch again and she scooted away from her a bit.
