Hello Hello, this is a thread for people who song write, whether it is lyrics or music....your welcome to discuss writting styles....share pieces(completely up to you) discuss favourite songwriters...anything goes......only thing I will not tolerate in this thread is someone or a couple people cut up other peoples writting ......friendly advise is more then welcome. Alright people do enjoy.

I guess I shall Start first, with my poem turned song called Hollow
Enjoy and feel free to ask about it's content.
Shadows speak
With lightly coloured butterflies
You wonder why you don’t belong
Empty bottles spilling promises
And breaking lies
You tell me your happy
Too much lying for such empty eyes
So much pain
Yet you wish to pay the price
Who you used to be
Invisible personality
I fail to recognize
Paper bag princesses and talks of poetry
Friend in need
Fallen to far from me
I’ve been too harsh
But this is slipping
And death is on the line
Stop don’t pay the price
When shadows speak
Of distance memories and
When smoke is your only friend
It clouds the mirror of yourself
Weathered by three months of destroying yourself
You look at me with visions of help
Expecting everything to be okay
Happy little dream world
Keep living until it turns to gold
Face it the addiction takes over now
Shadows keep on crawling
As time ages the walls of your broken home
In every drag you pay the price
One less step in your life
