I just thought it would be fun to share what we like to put on our altars.

For me, Along with my cloth (color depending) I have a silver and gold candle (for the Goddess and God), A bowl of water, a bowl of salt, incense, and a candle (for the elements), an athame or wand (to direct power with) A white candle (to light all other candles with) A chalice and any other tool or prop that might be used in that speical ritual and/or magic casting.

Hmm, my altar gets made everytime it gets used, and usually spreads out to the rest of the room. xD

I put one candle in each of the four corners (usually tealights, as they burn down quickly and I'm cheap... >.>) and then my altar is usually on a table. It has a big white, seven-day candle on it to represent the Goddess and the God, my wooden disk (about 1/2" piece of tree trunk), and the items that I will be using in the ritual and to cast the circle with (Athame, bowl of water, and a feather for fanning incense smoke). I usually have a ritual print-out or book with me, as well. =D

EDIT!: Oh! and I usually have wheat thins and some juice or something to represent my cakes and ale, lol.

I don't have much of an altar. xp
I have the top of my bookshelf which is covered in pots of what are supposed to be flowering plants. No buds yet.
Whenever I do any sort of magic, it's usually on the floor in the middle of my room.
So yeah, no altar. I am planning to get quite a few things for one, though.

My altar is pretty basic. I currently use a small table. I need to get an athame and some candles and stuff like that soon though...

My altar is a shelf in my room. I have a cluster of pine needles, 7 seashells, a large crystal, a turquoise and black rope, 2 jade hoops, an assortment of feather, a dream catcher, and a totem for each of my four spirit guides. The crystal sits in a pretty blue seashell and represents the goddess, the rope loops about the rings of jade, symbolizing the way that the world of the living, dead, and powers are intertwined. The pine needles symbolize earth, the shells are the sea, feathers are the heavens, and the dream catcher for the realms of dreams.

My alar changes based on the season and purpose of an upcoming meditation or ritual. With the equinox I changed the tapestry on the wall to a multi-colored Navajo blanket from Arizona. It has mainly orange in it which is why I chose it. On the wooden altar are whie tappered candles and a large orange one. There is also a statue of Kwan Yin, a large quartz crystal about eight inches long and five inches around, small purple amythis, and incense burner.

i don't currently have a space in my room for my altar. i keep the things i put on it in a bag, because i usually set it up outside, and can't always have it out for fear of neighborhood kids seeing with it and playing with it and/or destroying it. i have several rocks and crystals, sea shells, an oil incence thing (it doesn't burn), my pendulum, and some things i can't remember at the moment. i get some tea lights from the house stores of them, and bring my bottle of water.
