Adrastos watched as the sun blazed through the lands, he had already checked his own borders to make sure there was no intruders, however today he wanted to explore, he was planning on going to Rackna's Lands for some odd reason but he hadn't. This time only exploring lands he had not and hadn't been claimed by any other lions he had known off. His silky white mane blew in the soft breeze which was his only company. He yawned as the sun seemed to be dawning on him, making him want a nap however he was coming upon a small oasis which he would soothe his very parched throat.

Talcorin left his mountain kingdom and roamed down to the Pride Lands, wandering wherever his paws seemed to want him to go. He passed a few of his allies in their Prides and nodded or called hellos, but never stopped. He didn't really know where he was headed, but he knew he wouldn't stay long. Illitashia was waiting back in the Pride Lands, and he loathed leaving her. Especially with Lilac and the new cubs there. Smiling at the thought of his Queen he sped up slightly, feeling pulled in a particular direction.

Adrastos muzzle raised as another male's scent came into the area. He bellowed a roar, letting him know he was around and wasn't their to cause trouble. His steel orbs glanced around as his face plundered back into the water taking it's coolness in.

Hearing the roar, Talcorin returned one of his own, and sped up slightly, wanting a cool drink. The hot sun was murder with his dark coat, and he wanted nothing more than to be home with his mate, wading under the falls. He halted and drank, glancing at the other lion from moment to moment. He had not seen this king before, not even when he was an Angelic... Who was he? Where did he make his Pride? Was he as far away from home as Talcorin? With a shrug the dark king returned to the water, quenching his thirst.

Soon Adrastos steel orbs caught a dark colored male such as himself, except the occasional white splotches on him. When his head came from the water it seemed thhis other male seemed to have much on his mind, so he decided to start a conversation with the other. "Hello," Adrastos bowed his head a bit in respect for the other. "I'm Adrastos." he was rather short and simple but thats how he liked it with others he hadn't met before.

Talcorin raised his head from the water and nodded deeply as a sign of respect and greeting. "Talcorin of Rose Wings..." He murmured by way of introduction, with a small smile. Well! Here was one who didn't seem to want to talk too much. With a shudder of his coat, Talcorin glanced skyward, thankful the clouds were rolling in for a time. "Where is your Pride? If.. If you don't mind my asking."

"Of course not," a sheepish grin appeared upon Adrastos' face, "Tis a bit South West of here, I believe. That way." he motioned with his large head. This other seemed, pleasant enough it seemed. "And you, Talcorin?" he asked curiously as he dipped his muzzle into the water. These days he wished his back was white and stomach black because of the sun, seemed to absorb every ounce of heat there was.

Talcorin nodded. "Mine? North.. The mountains." Unknowingly, he turned back toward his home, smiling at the thought of his mate and Pride. Lilac was no doubt waiting for their afternoon walk, and swim.. The little Princess was curious about everything... He smiled at the thought of her and then turned back to Andrastos. "Do you know of Scarlet Shadows or Cyan Serenity, by any chance? They are allies of mine.. One in the mountains, the other near the lake.. "

"No, I don't unfortunatly. I do know Le Roi de Sorrow and of King Karver's Pride. They are allies of mine." He nodded softly. "You wouldn't of heard of any of them by any chance either?" he asked curiously wrought as usual. This Talcorin seemed nice enough, maybe they could become allies as well.

Talcorin nodded, his mind straying to Young Rellick's Pride. He wondered at the Ruby King's fate and shrugged, turning his mind back to Andrastos. At the mention of the Prides he twitched his tail and shook his head in apology. "I'm sorry.. The names are not familiar to me..." He murmured. The king before him seemed regal and honest, and Talcorin wondered if he would walk away from this river with a new friend and ally.

"S'alright seems to be more lions and prides coming every day. I wish we could all get along but even I know that will never be. I should no that," his mind shifted to his past quickly but he was back in reality swiftly.

Tal nodded in sad agreement. "Still, even if we can't all get on well.. At least we should make the attempt." He smiled and bowed. "King Andrastos, I am a Loyal friend.. If ever you needed me, I would fight for your and yours, and would call you if I had need... I would be honored to have you as an ally.. Would you be mine?"
Silver and midnight eyes raised, locking on the other King's face. Talcorin had allies, but he would always accept more, and allies were friends. The King of Rose Wings was glad to have many of those.

Adrastos smiled warmly, "It would be an honor aswell to call yourself my ally." The sun had changed it was no longer in the heighth of the day rather than starting to set. How time flew, his thoughts were told through his eyes though, "I think I should be going now, never know whats going on in my lands when I'm gone too long. "Twas a pleasure King Talcorin."

Talcorin nodded in solemn agreement. Yes, the Pride Lands could get dangerous if a King were gone from his home too long. "It was a great pleasure, and an honor King Adrastos... Until we meet again." He smiled and bowed one last time, turning toward his Pride Lands and leaping into a ground-eating run.
