Whats your opinion on the A Nightmare on Elm Street series? Personally I love these....best horror movies to me! Anybody else share my love for these? whee

From the series I have seen the first, second, and fifth. If you want to count it, I have also seen Freddy vs Jason.
I think Freddy is an awsome villain. I love this series a lot.

The series is good as long as you leave out Nightmare 2. It has it's moments, but it just doens't mesh with me. I liked Nightmare 3 the best.

I heart Freddy ever since I was really little growing up starting at 4 watching the Nightmare on Elm Street, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Halloween series....it might be the result of my constant paranoia but I won't stop watching them! scream From all the horror films I've watched Freddy Krueger had the most personality, character and fright/giggle impact then ALL of the rest. 3nodding

Freddy is one of the most beloved horror characters out there. I still watch the first movie on a regular basis but I feel that the series started declining after the 2nd or 3rd movie. To say the least, Freddy is my favorite nightmare.

Freddy is ******** awesome.
Being that he's probably the most Freudian of all other horror movie villains, he's probably my favorite. That, and I love the idea of a dead guy killing children in their dreams in clever, surreal ways. I love psychological s**t like that.
I own the box set of all the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, and I own Freddy Vs. Jason. I even went so far as to buy the Freddy Vs. Jason action figures Necca released, which I think make Freddy look better than the Todd McFarlane figures. [/geek]
