There's a new movie that came out called The Inconvenient Truth about Global Warming, which I highly recommend, as it was very fascinating. As we can't really debate whether or not global warming exists, it also made me start thinking.
Any suggestions, theories, or thoughts on what one can do to slow down or stop this exponentially increasing process? (Besides the overused, such as cut down on fossil fuels, etc.)

I am highly suspect of global warming. Whatever truth there may be to it, nothing resembling the scientific process has been used for it. Most debate over global warming now comes down to yelling the other side is biased and lying.
I have not seen this movie, but i will once it comes to dvd. However, i suspect it will have little in the way of science to it. I think until a true debate takes place, it would be irresponsible to act under the assumption global warming is true. The lack of thought in environmental concerns has horrible mistakes in the past (the DDT banning for example), and it would be silly to repeat these mistakes.
