Another store was a ways down the road, settled in somewhere between the nearest town and the other conveniance store, it was a ways away from the corp. Though it got most of it's buisness from the town, 183 was a frequent customer. Often requireing strange things like toothpaste and tinfoil, but mostly because this store had paper bags, and the other didn't.
It was still somewhat early in the morning, only 10:30 or so... A brown haired woman was standing near the bathrooms, and after a moment or two a flush was heard. A little girl with noticable tentacles coming from the side of her head and odd skin color stepped out, moving over to the lady, throwing her hands in the air as if to say 'all done!'

Narayan was sulking as he paced down the candy section. What he was doing in here he didn't know, except he had eaten up all the peanut butter flavored M&M's, and he had to buy another stash quick before his aunt realized it was all missing. The last time... wincing, he picked up two packets with each down, fumbling for his wallet which was tied around his neck with his nose.
Where had he put all those coins?
With a gaze that darted by towards the door, some movement out of the corner of his eye had him turn, and brighten. Eek! Look! A boobie! All thoughts of candy replacement was forgotten as he looked at the brown haired woman.
And... well.
What was this?
He was far enough that he could duck behind the candy, and far enough that he wasn't sure what he was look at. He remembered seeing a boy with lots of tentacles... maybe this one was like that too?
Curious despite himself, his peeked out, nose waving.

The little girls attention was drawn towards a movement, she cheered some inwardly, giving a 2handed 8 tentacled wave back, before she rushed over to greet the other d-corp child.
The woman smiled some at the two children, following Talia over. "Mmn. We shouldn't waste too much time here, okay?" her voice seemed warm, like she was a very sweet woman, and she was dressed in a light yellow dress coated in daisy patterns to match her attitude. "Well, while we're here we minas well get a few snacks..." Her eyes peered over the candy isle, wondering what the little squid-like-child would enjoy.

She had so many miniature noses! Beaming, he nodded his head. It was too early in the morning to try to form coherent words, so he decided to work with toddlerspeech.
"'Lo~" he said, nodding his head. How many of those did she have? He knew he could count to ten, but... hmm. Using his fingers, he nodded. Seven or nine, he knew. It had to be one or the other.
The woman was rpetty too. She looked like she smelled nice, and her dress had flowers on them!
"I Narayan." he said, nodding his head at both of them. Ooh, were they planning to go some where else too? Liking the boobie (she had such a pretty voice!) and the girl too, he stared back at her.
She was all spotty...

"I'm ms.Caverly." she smiled warmly, then moving to peer over the candies... "Aha." He fingers automatically locked on her favorite chocolate bar. "What would you like Talia?"
Talia was all too interested in this boy's tentacle that came from his nose! She vaugly wondered if he had any others in strage places, but let it go when candy was broght up. Hm... her yellow eyes moved away from the interesting boy to the wall of food. She peered over it until she found her favorite, gummy worms. Her skin tinted purple as she grabbed for the bag and held it up.
"Introduce yourself." The woman reminded.
Talia paused, looking back ot this narayan. "Aa.. Talia." she pointed to herself proudly.

Her skin changed colors too?! Fascinated by this thing that could almost be pretty (pity... she would be gorgeous with a bigger nose and bigger ears) he beamed.
"Hello." Talia, was it? Talia Talia Talia. Staring at the candy in her hand, she nodded. They had something in common now, both were buying candy.
Narayan took the opportunity to look back at the boobie. She was kind of pretty. And she smelled nice too. He looked up at her expectantly, wanting her name. Narayan called most women boobie in his mind... but he knew he would need something to differentiate this one from the others. Flower boobie? Hmmm. That didn't sound very right.
"Talya's mommy?" he asked. JD was his daddy, after all.
Or maybe this was an aunt?

Ms.Caverly paused a moment, looking fairly awkward. "No, not really." She didn't go any further on the subject, instead she offered another warm smile with the brush of her hair behind an hear "Well, we should get going. How bout I buy that candy for you, Narayan?"
Talia smiled, and waved again to his hello. She frowned some when the woman announced they'd have to leave now... Hm. She wanted to play withthe little boy some more... Oh well, atleast she'd get to eat her gummy worms sooner. With that in mind, she turned tail(if she had one) towards the checkout.

You mean the boobie wouldn't give him a hug?! Distraught at the thought, he nodded his head, deciding that the least she could do was buy him his candy. Leading him on like that. That was terrible.
And now the girl was leaving him too.
Frowning, he tugged at the woman's dress (body heat! Yay) and tried to give her his best innocent expression. It was easier with his large eyes, and he had tried to practice it in front of the mirror too.
"N'rayan go too?" he asked. And beamed.

Ms.Caverly turned as her dress was tugged, smiling and kneeling infront of the boy. She gave a fluff of his hair, "Now, I'd love to take you... but your family would miss you, wouldn't they?"

She was touching Narayan! All but purring under the attention, his eyes closed as his smile widened into one of those jaw stretching, face dominating expressions.
"Nope." he said, looked past her to see the girl with many... oh yeah, Talia. He wanted to play with her noses and see if they were stretchy. Hey, could she draw well with it too?
His tail wagged just a little bit. Because the boy refused to think that someone might not want him to come along. This was more important than anything else! He thought.

Another one? Ms.Caverly frowned some, seeming to be thinking about something before smiling. "Well.. Then I guess you'll have to come with me." She held her hand out "I'll go buy the candy and then we'll go... how's that?"
What a day... two children just standing around conveniently alone, without a parent to care.

Narayan nodded. Beaming, he decided to take her hand with his nose, clutching his chocolate to his chest. Any excuse to touch, really. And look! Her hands were nice too.
Tilting his head slightly to look for Talia, he waved at her with one of his arms.
"Ta-lya" he said, trying to get her attention. Hey, now he could see if she was stretchy or not!

Talia had already gotten her bag of candy up on the counter, though the use of a tentacle had suprised the casheer... She smiled, turning to the boy curiously. Was he coming too now?
Ms.Caverly was taken by suprise by the nose in her hand, but quickly wrote it off and smiled, leading the boy to the counter. "These two.. and some m&ms." She pointed to the candy clutched against the boy's chest. With her free hand she dug out her money, paying in as close ot the exact cash as she could.
"Alright, lets go..." she gave one last glance around the store... Nope. Still no parents. With tha confirmed she lead the two children back to her car, helping them in the backseat of the minivan and buckling them both in.
Talia grinned, ripping open her bag of candy as soon as she got settled in her seat and sticking one in her mouth. Something about the idea of eating worms was just fun.

Narayan grinned as he looked around the car. This was going to be such an adventure! For a moment, he thought about JD, and then decided that this was much more fun than anything the man could think up. Tearing the corner of his M&M packet carefully, he watched the way Talia dug into her worms. Heh. Maybe he'd trade a couple of chocolate pieces for a worm later in the adventure.
Yummy.
Pouring some out into his hand, he looked at the way the missus appeared from the back seat. Well. This would prove to be fun, right? Right?
"Ta-lya." he beamed. "Trade?"
