Alan practically threw his car into the parking lot. He'd been driving like a madman since he'd left the building, though he kept to the speed limit he never once did anything that would slow that limit. There weren't any techs, parents, or children to see him now... And he could get as worried as he wanted.
As soon as the engine shut of fhe was out of the door, and shoving his way into the little store that had been just down the road. it was fairly empty, being in the middle of no where... but it got alot of buisness thanks to the mysterious corporation down the road.
The man at the counter jumped some as someone burst through the doors, then promptly started rushing through the isles. Alan started by moving down the rows, staring down each of them in hopes of spotting a familiar little girl... When he ran out of rows he stormed down the last row, shot a glance back twoards the front, then headed for the bathrooms. Throwing open the bathroom's doors only to find nothing...
He almost growled at the last empty bathroom, but instead he took a deep breath, ran his hand through his hair, then let out said breath. She wasn't here.

Orpheus moved down the aisle, looking over the shelves for something to make for his pair for dinner. He was sure that they wouldn't ever agree on one thing so that meant something for Ligeia, something for Ter, something for... he blinked as a blur went rushing on by, "Hrm?" He followed after it a moment finding it to be someone familiar to him. He wondered what he was up to in such a hurry. First thought was the need of a bathroom as that was where he rushed to but when the guy returned Orpheus found his curiousity to get the best of him, "Looking for something in particular?" He asked of Alan when he was in earshot again, maybe he could help him out? He looked a bit... lost? Was that the right word?
Ter seemed to dismiss the man at first seeing him as a crazy man running up and down the aisles, not someone to concern himself with as he was trying to figure out the trick to opening up the glass door that stood between him and the bottles of juice that were held within it. When his father spoke up though he turned in that direction, hissing at them. Mr. Red knew the running man did he?
(( hope this is ok ))

Alan haulted, looking almost a bit stunned as Orpheus caught his attention. There went that whole.. free to panic idea. He seemed to compose himself in a matter of seconds, brushing a hand over his hair to try and rid the tangled mess he had created. "Talia." He responded simply, stuffing a hand into a pocket to dig out his paper... Aha. There. He whipped out the folded copies, passing one to the talent-teacher just incase he hadn't met the little girl yet. "Excuse me.." he mumbled, before moving over to the casheer to show off the same picture. However, all he received was a shake of the head... defeated Alan moved away from the counter, wondering what he should do now. He could just drive off again... Going in random places and hoping for a bit of luck. Seemed like all he could do at the time being.

One word and a picture, not much to go on but due to seeing the mood that Alan had been in before he saw someone from D-corp along with them one could start to put two and two together couldn't they. Talia, he didn't think that he had met this little one yet but from the sounds of it she were missing.
He glanced over at Ter and motioned for him before walking towards Alan, "If you need a couple extra pair of eyes for your search Ter and I could help out." He offered the man before he could rush off again. He knew he would be in a worse state if either Terpsichore or Ligeia went missing so he wasn't about to not offer assitance. He merely helped that he and Ter could be somehow.

Alan almost looked guilty as Orpheus spoke up, after the way raja had reacted to her little boy being sent up on a search and rescue mission... He wasn't exactly sure Orpheus would be any more pleased than the other parent had been.
With that he turned to his employee, giving an awkward smile and a pat on the man's shoulder. "You've already helped." The way Alan had said it almost made it sound like someone had died. Not that anyone had, but Alan also wasn't one to ever... ever try and give reassurance. Guilt-trips never made anyone act normal though...

The red haired teacher looked slightly confused before he tilted his head to the side, "Ahh... I did?" He asked, that didn't make sense how could he have helped when... wait. The tone in the man's voice rather worried Orpheus, he wasn't sure if he liked where Alan's insinuation was going...
"Don't tell me that it has something to do with Ligeia?" That was the only thing that made any sense. After all the note looking for Ligeia and Vorel had come from Alan, he'd just thought the same as Ligeia he supposed, that it was something to do with homework as it had been called an 'assignment'.
Ter was able to finally get into the cabinet and pulled out a bottle of the red juice, securely in his grasp it was then that he finally came over to his father and to Alan, glancing up at the pair. While he knew something was going on he had no idea exactly what. He would have to pay for close attention now wouldn't he? The boy coiled up and waited, watching the two for things to come.

Alan's facial features simply retreated back to the way they were normally, cold and distant. Well, it woul dhave been normal until Talia had come around. The man had seemed to 'cheer up' significantly around the girl, even though he told himself it was just until she was ready for a home.
He let out a heavy breath, looking away from the teacher with a frown. Orpheus was the closest thing to a friend Alan would ever find, "Was it wrong of me to keep her?" He shifted uncomfortably as he let out the question that was heaviest on his mind. He didn't like letting out a point of weakness, but at teh same time this was a question he couldn't answere himself.

Orpheus gave a shake of his head, "I don't see how it could be wrong, its obvious that you care for her." He said, at least to him after seeing Alan rushing as he had been, emotions revealed to the world. Orpheus figured that was a good sign that Alan must care for the missing girl. He'd even asked for the help of others in finding her.
"You show all the signs of being a good parent, so no reason why the girl shouldn't be in your care." Alan had never seemed the sort to Orpheus to need someone else to assure him, maybe the was the way he distanced himself it made him seem stronger, unhindered by such things as other people were? Not something he'd mention outloud of course as he didn't want to insult the man who was his boss.

Alan kept his gaze averted, nodding some... The logical things he could have told himself seemed better coming from someone else for some reason. Perhaps simply trusting one's own judgement about something one wanted wasn't reasonable.
After looking a bit settled, he seemed to retreat back into his own self. The usual Alan that everyone saw. "I should be going." he stated simply, not watning to reveal anythign more to his employee... It wasn't exactly right, expecially on a buisness level. He headed for the door, pushing it open some then suddenlly pausing. "Thankyou." he threw back at Orpheus, before picking up where he had left off and hurrying out the door.

Orphues gave a nod and a smile, "I will keep my eyes open, good luck. I hope that you find her soon." He said, watching as Alan headed out. He then turned back to Ter, "Come on. We will get our food and then head back. We will be more use back at D-Corp." Alan hadn't requested help but that didn't mean that he was going to ignore all of what was going on.
Ter gave a hissing sound and then headed along after his father's lead.
