He was being noisy? The concept still confused Revon a bit, and likely made him more self concious then usual. Well what else was new for the bird? The dark skinned boy made his way along the quiet deserted hall of the residents dorm in silence. Even if Haruki hadn't demanded it Revon had sworn himself into silence until he figured out how he'd been loud enough to get himself banished from the apartment. It was all so irionic as the bird rarely spoke a word anyway, thus no one would have noticed the difference.

He paused breifly at a window to stand in his tiptoes and peer out of a window at the scenery. Or perhaps lack of. This side of the building faced nothing but the fairly barren landscape surrounding D-corp, and that long road stretching out. It did point one thing out rather obviously. Revon didn't get out often. Not at all. Haruki had little reason to leave D-Corp unless it included grocery shopping, or the bookstore. Sure the young bird had managed to get the red-head to buy him one toy that fascinated him on so many levels. Something that had brought out one of his first hobbies aside from finding the best ways to avoid people. Namely singing(although Haruki hated the songs) and dancing. At the moment the raven wasn't very good at either, but if Haruki drilled one thing into his head... It was that practice made perfect.

Hmm... Maybe he could practice being quiet too, but then he'd have to play that game with the sound off... It wasn't easy to hit the keys without a beat to move to. He frowned, resting his face against the window. How to be not too loud and still play his new game without getting in trouble...

((Just so you know, because it's not already obvious. Revon managed to talk Haruki into buying him a version of DDR.))

((Omfg, DDR. xd !!!! Revon is a genius.))

Finally! Roule had gotten rid of Nev. That girl, his Ma, whatever. He really didn't have a shred of compassion for her at the moment, her constant "Do your journals!" and "Fix up your sheets" and "Haven't you talked with Kat yet?" were starting to grate on his nerves. Asking politely for a few minutes outside the apartment, the girl had grudgingly obliged.

Now he was walking down a solitary hallway in the D-corp building. If it was mere instinct that brought him here, he didn't know. Shrugging, the boy pocketed his hands in large camouflage purple cargo pants and tried to get the sound of his boots squeaking against the linoleum out of his mind.

Trying to think of more optimistic things than an overbearing mother, the weasel attempted to think of his dragon, if he ever got one. The boy wasn't accused of having an overzealous imagination, but he could pick out some details.. He'd prefer if the dragon wasn't a le..bi.. than.. thing, but he knew he wanted it to have wings. Liang had taught him that flying was this awesome thing that he wanted to do, but couldn't possibly happen. Sighing, the boy leaned against the wall. He didn't really want to go outside again. It wasn't a great day actually. There were no clouds apparently, but the day was gloomy from lack of sun. It almost looked like it was going to rain too, but no clouds meant that wasn't possible.

A sound of shuffling brought his attention level to the hallway. There was a figure, a few meters away, leaning on the window. Roule was curious, no doubt that, but what was it? He was rather cautious now of foreboding characters, mainly because the last time he had surprised someone, the girl had panicked so hard she hadn't been able to get down.

Revon might have freaked instantly if he'd noted the other boy's pressence as he paused to peer out the window. Thankfully the timid raven was too caught up in his own thoughts to notice the pale weasel, but the moment he turned away from the window to continue his walk down the hall he was confronted with the image of what he really didn't need to see. Another person.

A squeak almost escaped the young bird as he shuffled a few steps back, his black wings fluttering up a moment before folding back across his back. Instinctively his chin and mouth quickly darted into hiding in that oversized collar of his, and his hands wrapped around the cross he wore on the string. He went from being about as relaxed as he ever was to wigged out in seconds. One of those rare skills only he seemed to manage everytime something, be it big or small, appeared at his doorstep. Needless to say Roule probly got the idea he'd managed to startle another child without meaning to. Such was the cursed habits of Revon.

He managed to make everyone think they'd done something to make him feel threatened. The fact was the mere pressence of someone he didn't know seemed to be enough to set him off everytime.

Even as he was tucked into his safe little collar and holding his secondary crutch for relaxation he continued to slowly back away down the hall. He remained mute int he action following his current doctrine of not being noisy. Yes, there was still that problem to deal with. How to go about fixing said problem without losing what he'd taken such a liking to. Certainly he couldn't remained noisy. This only proved that being out in the hall could mean meeting strange new people at random, he didn't particularly like that. Thus a solution had to be found, but what?

Roule raised a brow. Whatever the thing was, it apparently had wings and spoke. Or made noises. He couldn't ponder on the strangeness of the animal as it began to slowly move back out of his range. What, he was already scared of him? The thought made the weasel grin though. Few were really intimidated by him, lest he tried anyways. They were usually older, and if not, more impulsive than he was. Or he was placed in an awkward situation. All the same anyways. He was not usually the one that scared people.

The form was slightly bigger than him with wings, but what seemed to be the actual body of the thing was smaller than him. He had determined the thing didn't really have a head, or at least it was very very small. He saw what seemed like hair, but nothing else. It all seemed to sink into that longan-shell coloured thing and retreated like.. a turtle.
You really couldn't see too much from far away, so Roule determined that, if he wanted to meet this creature or whatever it was, he'd have to get closer. But whatever it was, it had freaked out when it had simply realized he was there? Wouldn't it just move farther away? ...But the corridor was only so long. Roule gave a cheshire-cat grin. Not a fantastic plan, especially if the birdie could fly, but it was still smaller than him.. Being smaller probably meant he couldn't make it down the corridor as fast.
Though, what if he had a dragon? It wasn't really too possible since the thing was so small.. But he could, right? Maybe the dragon would come and attack him? The thought disconcerned him for a few seconds. ..Well, if it attacked, he'd just fight it off! A weasel could tackle bad things 2-3 times its size, Ma had said. So there.

Though.. Was it really a good plan? The boy/girl (as Roule had not been able to determine what it was yet) was pretty freaked out already. Whatever. He'd have to worry about that when he caught up. Sprinting towards the boy/girl, Roule hoped he'd get there before the bird could move or dash for the exit.

A bit of silence while he continued to flee slowly toward the safe confines of home. Hopefully Haruki hadn't locked the door after shooing him out to 'play' because he'd been noisy. The bird relaxed perhaps a smidgeon as the space between himself and the unknown figure grew. Everything was easier to deal with and comprehend when he had his bit of safety space from things as well as not needing to talk. He knew better than anyone else he should work on speaking well around people, but then if he did there was the problem if he'd upset someone. Saying nothing meant you couldn't make someone hate you, and he didn't want to be hated. Being bad was well... bad.

Of course even as his dreaded loop of a thought process drug him around back to where he started it was shattered with the realization that his backup speed wasn't enough. The pale creature was advancing now at a far more rapid pace, something akin to his brother right before he ran into his back and both ended up falling on the ground. Which was quite fine in his opinion, it was Keivlos after all. Anything his brother did had to be good. However this was not his brother, this was a stranger. And that brought was came next. The boy quickly turned on his heel to start running at his own top speed, which (sadly for him) wasn't as fast as the weasel could run. However, he had the advantage of a bit distance before this mad dash began, he was hoping that would be enough.

Thus the race down the hall started, one kid running for the door that led to safety, and well... Revon didn't know why the other boy was chasing him, he simply assumed it couldn't be good which lead to him moving for safety.

It didn't take too long for the familiar door to be seen the the black colored bird skidded to a halt panting slightly befoe breaking his previous vow of silence in desperation. "H-ha! D-door op-e..en!" He shouted rather loudly. Perhaps the fact the quiet, nearly mute boy had actually yelled would be enough to have the door unlocked for him in a quick fashion. If not... it would mean Revon learning just why the other child was chasing him.

Roule stopped a few meters away from the thing, stopping when the bird began to knocked on the door frantically. The weasel didn't really want to get into trouble for anything, especially just wanting to look at this new thing. He was about 3 doors down from the boy, and panting lightly, enjoying the chase. Honestly, whoever it was, they were loads of fun! Blonde and burgundy tresses fell in front of his eyes as he was huffing.
After hearing the shout, Roule was pretty sure that whoever it was would open the door and talk to the grey-skinned thing, hopefully getting it to calm down.. It'd be nice to meet another one, whatever it was.

Turtle.. turtle.. The thought kept reoccuring in his mind. The thing kept shrinking back into its.. shell! It looked really peculiar but Roule thought he shouldn't mention it until later. No sense in scaring the boy further right? Roule straightened up and smiled in what he hoped was an accommodating way, "Na! Thing! Helllllllllllllo!" The weasel gestured to the bird, waved and then called out in a strained kind of whisper. Not too loud, the pale boy hoped, but enough for the birdie to hear him without freaking out again. Roule sniffed, a tad bit offended. What was so scary about him anyways? I mean, it was nice he was scared of him, but Roule looked like a perfectly fine toddler. I mean, he was a bit on the reckless side, but the grey thing had freaked out when it realized he was just there!

Straightening, the weasel waited for an answer. If the door opened, he could just.. simply expllain to whoever it was that he simply wanted to play.. like a good little boy. He had it all planned out too. There was no way a normal Ma or Daddy could just look at him and say "No, you can't!" He'd even do the puppy pout too, just in case. Could you tell that Roule enjoyed having his way?

Whatever ruled the world dubbed that even the frantic yell wasn't enough to stir Haruki quickly. Thus as the boy waited desperately for the door to open the voice sounded quietly. Though that alone caused the bird to give a slight jump as he peeked over his shoulder at the far more pale creature. He'd been called thing, and greeted. Nothing that was too negative, and yet... he wasn't a thing. He was a Revon. Not that he was willing to say that out loud. Still even if he had wanted to say something it was at that moment that a barely audiable click was heard and the door opened. Sanctuary, or as close to it as the boy could get.

It didn't take long for the young raven to cling to the stark white pantleg as he stared at the other boy while edging out of view as best he could. "H-ha... i-tuh... c-cha-se..."

A sigh escaped the red-head as he stared down at the dark skinned child a moment, a book still open in his hand, the other still on the doorknob. A weasel by appearance. That was what was in the hall, one trying to be cute. It might have worked on any other parent, but cute just didn't work on Haruki. If it did, then he'd have long since started listening to the large eye'd child attached to his leg. Great, more problems. "Why is he chasing you?" There was always a reason for everything, and it was better to just get to the point without goofing around.

"Mmnn." The boy shook his head ducking further away in reply, though one gray eye showed from behidn the white fabric he was more or less using as a living shield.

"Alright..." The red-head's gaze switched to someone who'd likely be more willing to speak up. "Why are you chasing, Revon?"

Roule acknowledged the man's gaze, humbling considerably. The weasel flushed sheepishly staring at his feet, aura totally changed. "Ne, I wanted to see it.. looked weird and I wanted to meet." He stuck out a tongue at the gray-hued boy, fascinated at his attachment to the redhead. He had never scared anyone that much, at least, he hadn't met anyone that had been scared of him that much. There wasn't that much to be afraid of, Roule reckoned, studying the raven's features.

Frowning, the paler boy jabbed a finger at his chest, facial expression somewhere between proud and annoyed. "I not it! Im Rooole and Im a weasel!" Pausing, the grimace deepened, "not it!" He replied shortly, hypocritically angry at the other boy for confusing him. Remembering calling him Revon a thing, Roule shrugged apathetically. The gray thing, which now was named 'Revon' looked like a thing. Roulette looked like Roulette. At least, Ma had told him that, and tapped him on the nose, but she had smiled afterwards, so it might've been a lie.

The weasel raised his head definitively and looked up at Haruki, who, in perspective looked a bit larger than a normal adult, and pointed to the insides of the apartment. He had been intrigued by the hallway since he had wandered into it. Not that there was anything especially wonderful or colourful there, it was just that Roule enjoyed raiding other people's homes.
Attempting to give a smile, which turned into a more or less stoic expression, Roule chided, "Can we play then?" It was an innocent request, at least, and Roule mutedly knew that such naivete wouldn't be turned down.. right?

"Of course you are." Roule, weasel... It didn't make much of a difference to the red-head. He simply continued to stare down blankely. As usual his hair covered one eye which likely didn't make him look any more friendly than the frown. Not that the teacher was out to make friends, nor did he like dealing with the younger children. The ones at the incubation facility had been bad enough.

Roule, not it? But he wasn't a thing either. So he didn't see what the problem was. The bird tucked his head down a bit more as the boy yelled closing his eyes as if the words actually stung him. Then opened them again as the sweet voice attempted to speak once more. The thing had said it wanted to meet him, the Roule thing. Well not him, it wanted to look at him because he was... wierd. Wierd wasn't a good word was it? He frowned further glancing at the ground. No it was a bad thing to be, bad bad bad. So he'd been a bad bird again? Even when he was being quiet..?

"Hmm..." There was a moment of silence as the man thought, then he shrugged. The boy just wanted to poke at Revon's wings anyway, he'd just stuff them in the room and tell them to be quiet. It'd be less trouble than stuffing both back into the hall and dealing with Revon wanting back in again. "Fine. As long as you don't make any noise, and you play in Revon's room." The boy needed friends anyway, not that that was his problem. "And if you make a mess you're in big trouble." He added as he turned to move off out of the way.

Revon almost gave a gasp as the red-head agreed to letting that, weasel Roule thingy into his house. Eyes widening as he glanced up. His sanctuary was being infiltrated, and worse he was being stuck in a room with the person? The boy moved easily as the man shifted, almost as if he was part of the fabric due to always clinging like that. "B-bu-" The possible protest was silenced as he was lightly prodded off with the hardcover novel and nudged in the direction of his room. "H-ha..." Too late, the decision was final. The boy eye'd the lighter skinned child momentarily before turning back to his keeper for one last try. Another dud. Well then he could only hope that the other wasn't going to hate him too much, and quickly started for his room to duck into a corner there.

It was just toward the hall and the second door. Visable from the entrance hall. Upon opening the door he was graced with what would usually bring a smile to his face. His little practice station in the corner opposite the door, some rather pink drawings, and a vace with some flowers he'd found the other day. Pretty little things. However, instead of heading to practice his game he quickly headed for the spot most opposite the door, the far cornerofhis bed. And promptly stuck himself there. No Haru to hide behind, no Keivlos, and now his room. Weasels were hard to escape from.

Roule gave a nod at Haruki, grateful for an escape from the boredom and preceded to skip happily into the apartment, briskly following the gray bird into his room. The paler boy eyed the multitudes of a rather blatant colour that were lining the walls. Why was it so pink?! Not that he hated the colour of course, it was a nice shade, pastel and went with everything but he was always under the impression that pink was a girly colour.

Guess not, thought the weasel, then paused. Revon was a boy, right? Well, the bird looked enough like one but he could never be sure. Then again, the weasel couldn't really tell at the moment, between quite a few people actually, but he never asked them. Ma had insisted it was rude, especially when he had asked a few others what gender they were. Not his fault that they looked so androgynous.

Glancing towards the sheepish other by the bed, the stoic child sat himself on the bed next to him, looking around. Basically, everything caught his attention since it was pretty difficult to ignore a few items in his room, afterall. Roulette squinted at the strange thing in the corner, with a mat and a screen. He had never seen anything like it and wanted to inspect it, even just a bit. Pointing to the new thing, Roule pulled the room out of silence.
"Ne, whuzzat?" He asked quizzically, pointing to the toy in the corner. Well, it had to be a toy. What else could it be? It was in a kid's room afterall, so it had to be fun. Everything in his room was fun, so in conclusion, every other kid's room had to fun. Shifting closer to the thing, and in that, moving closer to Revon, the weasel squinted at it, attempting to make sense of what it was. It hadn't clicked in the child's brain that this was not his home, nor was it his decision for them to do anything, and it was instead -- Revon's.
Roulette had yet to learn personal space, at least for the moment.

His space was no longer his own. A mild little noise more akin to a squeek than anything escaped his mouth. Trapped in a room with some random person he didn't know. It was just a weasel... Roule thingy. He shoved his head further into the collar, going to far as to adjust it to rest higher up with his hands in the process before snagging the cross around his neck and clutching it as if it alone could save him from this situation.

Why couldn't Keivlos be here? Keivlos would like the pale person right?

Bi-colored eyes stared at the boy fearfully as he plopped onto the bed as if he owned the room. At this point Revon might have tried to stutter out that he could have it if he just let him leave.

Too bad, so sad. That wasn't what Roule asked. No, he'd been drawn to Revon's favourite thing in the room. Because it too had pink on it, those lovely little arrows on the pad. The boy was edging closer to both of them in his curiousity, which meant talking might just stop him. Maybe, hopefully. He wasn't good at dealing with these new people without Keivlos around.

"I-i-t's a-" he took a breath trying to clear his head. "It's a g-game. You... y-you d-dan-ce... a-and it-it gra-rades y-you." He managed to mumble out and clutched the object in his hands further. That precious little security blanket he took everywhere. A replacement for his brother when he wasn't around.

Oh, he really did wish Keivlos was there.

"Hn?" Roule paused, scanning Revon for traits for lying. He was pretty good at picking up on it now, but the gray-hued boy just looked terrified. Good shield. Maybe he'd use it someday.
"Dance?" He asked, confused. "You just dance and it give you mmggrade?" The weasel asked the bird quizzically, attempting to get the grips of the game. This game didn't even sound that hard anyways, Roule was pretty sure he could get the hand of it in a few minutes. Deciphering what the turtle-boy was trying to say was harder, as he was hiding behind that ridiculously large shirt. It wasn't all that pretty either, just big and brown coloured.

Standing up and looking down with stern burgundy-coloured eyes, the paler boy smiled a tad and looked over the mats. "Play then? I wanna try~"

There probably wasn't anything to it anyways. Though, what was the mat for? You just had to dance right? And if you dance good, it'd give you an A.. sounds simple enough, though maybe that was too simple? The taller child frowned for a few seconds before his gaze flickered back to the smaller boy.

He talks slow, the weasel reasoned, waiting impatiently. And stutters and stuff, so Roulette probably had to wait for an response. Why was he always clutching that thing? The uh.. cloth? Roule frowned, replacing the brief smile and offered Revon a hand, just in *case* he was stuck.

Lying wasn't something Revn made a habit of doing, so even if the fact he was trying to duck into the smallest ball possible masked his face enough, it didn't matter. He was telling the truth, plain and simply. Lying made people yell, and make you bad, he had enough problems with trying not to be bad as it was. No one wanted to be around a bad boy.

At the few questions the other asked he bobbed his head a few times to confirm that he was right. It was how the game worked, you danced, you got graded. It had nice songs too, which was why he liked it. Bouncy music to hop on the arrows with, it was a good game. And if he played a good game well, then perhaps he wouldn't be such a bad bird.

And that was what Revon wanted most, right?

Of course, he wasn't good enough to play in front of other people yet. No, not at all. So as the question of playing it was brought up he shrunk back a bit frowing behind the cloth. Not that he'd be rude enough to say no, that would make him bad too. He had to avoid such things at all costs. Even if it meant doing something mildly wrong in the process. Thus he had no choice, but to release the metal cross he'd been clinging and inch toward the edge of the bed to start the game up. It was obvious that Roulette wouldn't be getting any verbal response from the young raven as he hit the TV's on switch and then pushed the button to turn on the PS2 as well.

After the brief loading the screen flashed with the warning about slipping, and then there was the menu after a short delay. The boy let himself slip off the bed entirely to stand on one of the mats to set up the game. Light mode was all he could do at the moment, the pad was too large for him to really do the jumps yet. Which meant moving quickly between the arrows wasn't easy either. Hopefully Roule would realize that too.

He glanced at the other boy mutely before hitting the buttons to start it into two-player game mode and set his level to light while waiting for the other choose.

Looking down at the mat, Roule cocked a brow, inspecting the mats. "What am I 'posed to do ne?" He asked roughly, mimicking Revon's movements. The pale boy stood on the mat, attempting to sort out in his mind what he was attempting to do. The weasel was slightly taller than the bird, enabling him to reach the arrows sucessfully, but in an extremely awkward stance. Frowning, Roule propped himself up in the middle circle, looking over to the trembling gray boy.

"Ne? I watch you first." Offered the weasel, matching steps with the raven. He really didn’t have a clue what was going on, other than he had to put his feet on the mat to dance, apparently. Why would need to do that? That was completely silly anyways. Studying the mat carefully, he pushed the left arrow and then the “o”, which delved into a multicoloured barrage of sound and as songs began their preview on the choice screen. Puzzled, Roule stayed still, looking quizzically at Revon beside him, eyes gesturing wildly to the screen.

Watch..? The boy immediately frowned and glanced down. Having someone in the house, in his room no less, that was bad enough. Being watched when he was bad at something... Being bad made him a bad bird. He nipped at his lower lip glancing at the other child cluelessly for a moment. Still, to get rid of him and have his space back..?

Alright. He could do this. Maybe.

Shoving the arrow to move along through the song previews until he found a familiar one he hit the button and the screen momentarily went black. Then Lit up again as it prepared to play the song. And it started with a line that thankfully, wouldn't mean anything to the young boys.

Hey, Mr. Wonderful...

Certainly neither boy would understand the true meaning behind the song. Yet.

After a few seconds the first few arrows started to show from the bottom of the screen and the young bird tried to move along timing pressing the coorosponding sections of the pad as perfectly as possible. He wasn't doing too horribly at it until the jumps started to show up. Each of which ending in a miss because the bird just couldn't hit both arrows at the same time yet. Other than that, he wasn't doing too bad. Obviously he had the concept down and he practiced the song a lot. Which was likely in his favor for the time being, he wasn't making a complete fool of himself.

Still, as the song ended Revon was only graced with a C by the machine when the time came up, something he obviously wasn't too pleased about. He definitely needed more practice before he played in front of his brother.
