So- I’ve had a lot of thinking lately, about Gaia and Friendships and the like.
With the shift in the site format and the little graphic up in the left hand corner always saying the same thing: Gaia Online- a place to meet people, share stuff, play games and more.
To me, the Church of Mod is a stellar example of this.
I’m going to be a bit sappy here- but I have to say, the friendships I have made and the transformations I have seen within people and the support of the community is amazing.
I have been adopted as a sister to a dear friend of mine that I met on Gaia.
I have offered hospitality to others, and have adored the brief time I have spent with them in my home, and am excited by the prospect of seeing them again.
And it is more than that- people who I otherwise wouldn’t have spoken with have taught me things that have become so thoroughly integrated into my daily life I cannot remember a time without it. And I haven’t even been here a year yet.
So I open this thread in the spirit of sharing those parts of this community which have caused us to better ourselves, as a testimony to the strength of the friendships we have made and a thank you to those who have enriched our lives.
While part of me wants to C&P my friendlist as a thank you, allow me to limit it to a handful of people who I interact with on almost a daily basis (as such as our respective schedules allow).
I am grateful to Wing for his role in my life.
I am thankful for my friendship with Fiddler, Icy, Rommy, DV, Amy and Fae- for all the hugs, cuddles, pokes and jokes.
I adore the challenge I have found in debating Deo and Nuri- and the gnawing and holdy alcohol wielding that goes with it.
I welcome others to post such things as well.

I feel really badly, since I just went to work one day, booted up my laptop when I had the spare time, and started to type whatever came to my mind for each person of the CoM.
Then I alphabetized it. Since we all know how addicted I am to the alphabet. sweatdrop

Ablazed – You are just so amazingly sweet that I want to devour your soul! domokun The art you make is super cute and you need to get back to emoticon theater, some of us are going crazy for lack of updates! DX Though, seriously, I’m very happy you found a gentleman in your life. <3
Actumen – Acutie is much luff! It encourages me to see you tough it out even though your friends aren’t the best. Don’t worry, you always have us and hopefully some time soon you’ll come across people around you who are just as mature as you. ^^ <3
Alina Shea – I miss you, your cheerfulness, your love of fluffy romance, and your love of nature. If you ever come back, know that at least one friend will still be waiting for you with wide open arms and heart. No matter what.
AllianceSJR – Loves Pokemon, which makes him instant win. I had no clue for a while he was male, but it was all good, since he lurves my Rara. He knows she’s mine and that he’s just borrowing her from me. XD Let’s me talk to him whenever I have something bothering me. Sings on the phone, soooo much fun to talk to him on the phone! Has the same hair style as me, which makes for a happy Icy!
Alexi Terianis – Teases me like a big brother some times and lets me be uber random and crazy on the phone! Says perverted things some times, but it is ok because I still luffs him. Reads my terrible fluff and leaves comments, which is much love! <3
Amy RuffleFluff – The Ruffliest and Fluffiest Modista of them all! I heart her, but it makes me a bit sad how she keeps putting herself down. ;; She makes the cutest clocks in town and don’t you forget it!
Arcadian – Used to talk to me much more often, but he has become so busy with life and gaming! Used to explain the weird things people posted in the thread to me, some times several times because I’m slow. ,___,;;; Awesome grin!
Akanishi Makoto – We are just starting to get to know each other, but you are very nice and some times rather random! XD Thanks for showing me interesting news links, I need to do a better job of keeping track of the world. Sorry that it takes me a while before I show pictures with faces. ^^;
Anetra_Pendragon – I love your art and your zany personality! I hope that you can hang out with us some more during the night shift some time soon! Thanks for stopping by the chats I invite you to! xD
Axioma – Gosh I heart you! Thanks for attempting to prepare me for that Chem SAT 2 that my father was crazy enough to attempt to sign me up for! sweatdrop I love your writing and off beat ideas. Something about you makes me embrace morbidity with open arms and the desire to dance!

Balcerzak – Awesome buddy to talk to about music and is just filled to the brim with cool random facts about things like EST vs EDT. I still have to think of a cutesy nickname for him. Likes fishing, so I ought to have my lil bro talk to him some time. Must attend a Con with him some time in the future!

Deep Vermillion – I swear you’re an art whore, and started me on drawing more often. Fiddlers Green – You’ve been a guiding hand on Modism and a big brother to me early on. I still hold that you were the first Modist who really made me feel like I had a friend in our cozy community. You seriously need to stop bashing your singing, because it is amazing! And don’t apologize to me when you start ranting about things, I love seeing your rants! >w<
Grayed – She can be so silly at times, but she is a role model who I respect. Able to remind me to keep my calm whenever I get steamed to the point of wanting to hurt something. Her faith is refreshing and heart touching. And we all know that her art is madsexy.
Gendou – The always watching thing is a tad creepy, but in a good way. <3 One of my first memories of him was asking for him to PM me one of his Gendou Fictions of the CoM because it was PSAT day at our school and I didn’t want to do math work. He reposted parts of the story in a place I could get to and that was just so much happiness. He’s like the awesome smart role model that everyone should have in their life. Ruevian and Gendou make one of the most romantic couples I’ve ever seen in my entire life to the point that I have hope for love existing in this world.
Henry Dorsett Case – You are a great guy who is seriously fun to talk to. I’m glad that you also like Naruto, but it sucks that you are ahead of me in the series now! DX I’m sorry that we had a rough spot, but I’m still very glad that we became close. <3

Ichigo – I die from cuteness. Like. Fifty times over. You are an amazing person with lots of intelligence and talent, so doubting yourself all of the time is so silly! Yes, there are people who are going to be better then you at this and that, but that doesn’t make you any less wonderful! I’d glad that you give me art tips, because it really helps! My one and only Imouto-chan, I wish for your happiness and pray you won’t make the same mistakes I made.

Some times I think you stress way too much about the small things, but it is ok since those are the things that stress you out! You are an honestly sweet person, but I swear to the Mods that the next guy to break your heart is going to have my foot in his spleen. Moryera – It is fun to look at the cute Sweet Lolita clothing you find! I like to hear about how you and your family live your life, since we have similar backgrounds in some ways, but very different families. Sorry that I weird you out with my questions all of the time. ^^;;

Ruevian – I’m so glad that I got to know you and that you trust me. I’ve always liked and respected how you would tell people honestly what you thought of them. I hope that you come back to Gaia some time soon, because I miss Rue’s crazy antics and creepy sexiness. One of the few people who was willing to play the measuring game and you let me rant about college courting when I was still trying to figure out where I’d end up. Also, I’m still not quite sure, but I believe you were the first Modist I met face to face, and it was such a positive experience that I wanted to meet more. Lots of love to Blue! <3

Triste – Wow, it is amazing how we’ve talked more over the phone then online, and I’ve only called two times! XD Thanks for the feed back on some of my stories, and I’m glad my fluff doesn’t make you want to gag. <3 (most of the time anyway. xD)

Oh Mods. I think that was everyone who comes to the thread often or at least used to. If I didn’t post about you, chances are that I couldn’t remember your name when I was typing this up at work without internet access. ^^; I heart you all and for the ones I don’t know well, I hope to get to know you!
