Kiji wandered happily through the small grove of trees surrouding the waterhole. In his opinion, the trees were more fun than the water, and it was them that he really looked forward to. He pranced between them, weaving around them carefully. He spotted a small bird and decided to chase after it, leaping into the air to snap at the branch it was on to get it moving. It took off into the air, and he trotted along underneath it, jumping into the air at it every so often.

Jamaa's spirit was pretty high now-a-days. He was finally able to see his son again and it would seem that he is doing well too. Goma was given a new job since he wasn't doing much of anything anyways. Topas was running around with a female somewhere, best for Jamaa not to interrupt.
The tall dog was bored and somewhat thirsty, and the only place that he got his drinks from was the one close to the large acacia tree. The copper brown dog continued down the dirt path when he noticed that there was something running around up ahead. He stopped to focus on it. The markings on the creature was familiar, it was surely a wild dog and a male at that. This canine seemed familiar to him.
Jamaa reached the tree grove that boardered the watering hole not too far away. The canine was jumping up and down for reasons unknown. Now that the wild dog was closer, he could see clearly who this wild dog was....however he could not place a name on it.
He just simply watched the dog from afar.

Imal hummed and pranced along. She had left her friend back at the empty den she had found so she could go off by herself for a bit. Her rust colored tail wagged behind her as he black paws kicked up dust behind her. The female was happy to finally get out into the world but something about her surroundings was slightly different. It was as if she knew something about her changed since she had met Chakelete. The bouces in her step kept her mind on walking as she continued along her unknown path.
Soon two smells caught her nose. They were both obviously male. Full grown males at that. She knew that she wasn't quite full grown and couldn't face two males alone if they decided to gang up on her. Imal's body language changed dramatically as she got closer. Her tail went limp and her ears went back against her skull.
What are they up to?...

Kiji stopped chasing the bird and spun around, making himlsef dizzy momentarily, and found himself staring back at another male, or similar size and apparently age. He knew this male from somewhere, he just couldn't remember, but he decided it would only be kind to greet him. "Hallo." He said, beaming at the other, tai wagging behind him, as per usual.

Jamaa smiled and lifted his paw into a sort of wave, "Hey, I believe we have met before?" he just came straight out with it. Usually Jamaa would beat around the bush. "Perhaps someone on the boarder of the Pride Lands?" saying only because he used to, and still sometimes, protrols the boarder.
This wild dog was defiantly familiar, he has seen him before, and his voice was too. Who was he? There are only a hand full of wild dogs that he knew of outside of the Mpinzani pack. Surely, this one must be in that hand....somewhere.
Kij...... he thought. Something like that.

Imal waited as she watched the two males. The female crouched down to listen. They seemed to know each other. Perfect.. Her orange eyes peaked up over her cover for a moment as she watched. They had such blotchy pelts which made her nicker a bit. With her beatuifully symetrical fur she pitied others who didn't.
Imal realized that they could have smelled her by now so she gathered up her courage and slowly lifted herself up.
"Hello boys."

Kiji laughed kindly at Jamaa. "It's Kijivu." He smiled. "Yuka's mate?" He offered, trying to help the other dog with his memory. His tail was like a whip behind him, it was wagging so fast, and he spun around again as the female spoke, a soft seductive tone to her voice. He shuddered a little when he looked at her. She was stunning, but definately not his type. He could tell just from looking and listening. And he was very happy with Yuka anyways, so it wasn't important.

Yuka's mate? Jamaa's maw turned into a smirk. "So you are the Kiji that my sister has fallen for." his golden eyes narrowed as he started to circle the other wild dog. Jamaa was slightly taller than Kiji, inherited by his father's side of the family.
Kiji was in good shape, strong legs, nice body, and looks like he has decent genes too. Yuka has found someone very intresting to bring into her heart. "So, do you treat her well?"
As he circled around grey canine he paused for a moment and looked over at the female in their presence. "Hey there, nice to meet ya. Name's Jamaa." and then he continued his circuit.

Imal smiled and straightened her posture. Her tail swung slowly behind her. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well Jamaa." These two seemed ddifferent then the males she had met. Did they already have mates? That must have been it. She sighed and slowly trotted to them.
"Well. I was just walking and heard you two talking. I hope I'm not intruding on anything." Her smile widened on her maw. Her orange eyes brightened as she looked to bothe of them.

Kiji laughed as Jamaa started circling him. "Of course I do. I love Yuka with all my heart." He said proudly, puffing up his chest and then unable to resist, and sttarting to giggle. "She's very special to me, and I would never let anything happen to her." He finished, looking at Jamaa, then at the female. Little did he know that this was the feamle that had assaulted his Yuka.

Jamaa stopped and poked Kiji's puffed chest. "Good, ya better or I'll come afteer you muhself, ya hear?" he said with a goofy accent and smile. Somewhere in him, he needs to grow up if he wants to be a good father. Jamaa did act immature around those his age, but clearly his voice and height is a dead give away....
"Kiji, I haven't seen her lately. She wasn't at the pack lands this morning." he was sort of worried for his "sister." Hopefully, Yuka is alright and somewhere safe.
Jamaa's body sort of jumped. He just reliezed that the two of them have been ignoring the female stranger.
"Sorry for ignoring you....uh...what's your name?"

Imal was almost content with just watching the two. It was nice to be around others her took their time in noticing her. The female fell to her haunches and yawned. She wasn't tired,it was a reflex. Her tail swished behind her as she sat not really knowing how to address the two. She hadn't meant to sit in and listen to their conversation but it was kind of hard considering where she was. When the brown male addressed her she shook herself back from her thoughts.
"Imal'ilalele. Imal if you please." She smiled widely and cleared her throat. "It's nice to meet you both, Jamaa and...Kijivu was it?" Hher mind buzzed for a moment before something clicked on his name. Her orange eyes focused on the grey male.
"Sorry if I'm wrong but do others call you Kiji by any chance?"

"Yes. They do all the time, it's much easier to say than my full name. Why...?" he asked, trailing off and then cocking his head at her. This female seemed so incredibly odd. He let his bright emerald eyes meet her almost glowing orange ones and all of a sudden he saw....Yuka's fear, in her eyes. It make no sense. Shaking his entie body, he broke the connection and growled at her, raising his hackles and pushing himself lower to the ground.

Jamaa flinched a little when Kiji suddenly turned to Imal. His calm self abruptly turned furious. What happened to him, what caused him to be like this? Was not just a moment ago he was playing around like a pup?
"Kiji....?" he asked, sort of calling out to him. "Kiji, are you...alright?" the wolf's hackles were raised and his fur was bristled out. He wasn't like this until Imal spoke to him.
The older dog turned over to the female, "Imal...?" he asked. Cleary, these two have something against one another....just so happens that Jamaa was at the wrong place at the worst possible time.

Imal didn't favor the situtaion. She was suddenly aware of what she had done to Yuka. She had tried to block it from her dizzy mind but they grey male unleashed it all. Her tail went rigid as she stared at the ground, obviously distraught. One after another her steps began to take her away from the two. Her maw was dry and all she could get out were whimpers.
"Please...don't" Her voice shook with fright.
The female slowly began to lowere herself to the ground. Her emotions were brimmingin her throat and her head was foggy. She hadn't know what had happened that night with her a Yuka but it certainly hadn't been her. It had been...someone else.
