from what i've heard gaia is going to be more like ro then neopets in the fiture.
What do you think gaia;s direction should be?

La La. This has been said over and over and over again. The simple fact is, Gaia will never be like Neopets. Why? Because we are a forum. Not only that, but Gaia is meant for an entirely different Age group. In short, it will never be like Neopets, it will just be Gaia with games.

Psiko La La. This has been said over and over and over again. The simple fact is, Gaia will never be like Neopets. Why? Because we are a forum. Not only that, but Gaia is meant for an entirely different Age group. In short, it will never be like Neopets, it will just be Gaia with games. And thank god for that!

He said he thought Gaia will be "more like ro then neopets" meaning he doesn't think it will be like Neopets, he thinks it will be like RO. I think some people read it a little bit wrong. xp
Anyway, I've never actually played RO before, so I can't really say if I'd be happy about Gaia turning more towards its style, or not. I would hate for it to be like neopets, but I don't think it will be. Gaia isn't strict on the rules like neopets, and they put more time into their work. Fishing is a much more complicated system than those stupid games they pop out all the time on the neopets site.
Basicly I'd like to see a more frequently updated plot line. I wish they wouldn't make an advancement and then let it rot for a month or more before adding anything on. I'd like to see a little more user involvement. If you remember the olympics they had a poll which asked your favorite NPCs. The ones voted favorite were the ones who got to participate, for the most part. Plus the winner of the poll, Moira, also won the race. That shows they do care what users want to see. In the current poll it asks which NPC you like best.. I think that could help determine who comes out on top in the end.

I hope Gaia developes to be at least mostly unique unto itself. I think this site has a lot of potential to be something special, not just a knock off of another site.

True, so all we have to do is hope that it keeps developing as a unique site, and doesn't try to form itself to any other's standards. My only hope is that the become a little more focused on the plot line in the future.
