There have been stories of men who turned small businesses into multi million dollar empires. There have been stories of wars that have slain many people, both combatants, and civilians. There have been stories of men who've spent millions on diamond rings, and other such things for their beloved.
What do all these things have in common?
They all involve the focused usage of sexual energy. Tales all over the world exist of those who've denied themselves pleasures of the flesh, and gone on to achieve things that etched them into the annals of history. (Jesus, Gandhi, Buddha are some of the more well known examples) And of course there are stories of major religions that have warred for years,and spilled the blood of many. (again, look to religion for most of these stories)
My question to you all is:
Can sexual energy contribute to a heathy, prosperous society, or a malignant one destined for war? Could lack of sex, be linked to an increase in warfare? Could a healthy libido lead to a life of luxury, or a life of decay?

You have an interesting twist on the subject there. To be honest, I think sexual energy is there to be used, sure, but let's not forget that it's not our only type of energy. Sexual energy alone does not fuel our aggressions and desires to be driven that far. I think that, while it is a big part of our lives, sexual energy should be consumed in sex, as well as other things. Many people think it just builds up while not using it, while I believe it constantly renews itself, as long as we're willing to spend it.

I think that, while it is a big part of our lives, sexual energy should be consumed in sex, as well as other things. Many people think it just builds up while not using it, while I believe it constantly renews itself, as long as we're willing to spend it. Indeed, and it can be used, in tamden with other energies, to achieve great things. What I'm wondering, though, is who noted 'no' on the poll, and why they did not post. o.O

I don't know that sexual energy is the cause for these thing I think it might be something closer to tempation.
Like the fabled "Trojan War", was it fueled by love or lust? Something kind of like the strong can resist and everyone else can't, therefor those that can are emulated (later warred on) and those that cannot are considered human and normal.
But then again I think I'm wrong.

Personally, I think that if it is used in a healthy way, sexual energy can be good. However, most don't know how to use it healthily or deal with it if it must be taken away, which causes problems.

Naturally, they'll have a ton of unused sexual energy, ad thusly, they fight more intensely, than before. I would think anyone would be on edge, after not getting any for weeks on end.

That I'm pretty sure is an attempt to assert your strength and try and have the other intimidated and submissive to you, getting you whatever you want from whoever you want. Like prison, or so they say.
