Yugioh GX is ok.
But the Orignal is the best.

In Jaden's first duel with Aster Phoenix, Aster uses random "throw-away" fairy-deck cards from Ancient Sanctuary... sweatdrop
Jaden almost lost, but Aster's "boss" wanted him to lose.
When Aster duels Zane(1st time) Aster uses an E-Hero deck with Enemy of Justices's ENFORCER Heroes.
Aster hasn't used D-Heroes yet... ninja He will shortly

the japenese episode of the second season cool. They're easier to find, and most dont have commercials (mainly cause i watch them online). The Destiny Heros Edo Phoenix (Aster Phoenix) uses are awsome, but Jaden's new cards that he gets after round two with Aster are awsome

The second time Jaden dueled Aster Aster used his destiny heros and finished Jaden off with Dreadmaster after the duel Jaden lose the ability to talk to his cards for a while man thats rough I would want to lose my ability to talk to my cards neutral

Original is the best. However i do like the fact that the GX decks have an actuall strategy to them. (Heros, Vehicroids, Cyber drgns, etc) The original decks were made up of random cards.

It's not so much strategy as theme, but either way works. XP
I, too, favor the original, but I really like how GX expanded on the imaginary interaction between monsters in the first season(see the 'Maiden in Love' episode, haha burstinatrix as the jealous ex), and basically how they just have monsters sentient and even solid-state hanging around most of the time. It's a great dynamic~ (now if only someone would put neo in their deck...)

i like the strategy element... the old episodes seemed to be more of waiting to see who got out blue eyes first.
and apparently none of them had ever heard of a fissure before xd
christ, blue eyes lasts about one turn in reality
