Alright. I'm home sick today. My stomache is like........dead......or dying, to be more appropriate. Nothing dead could hurt this bad. I woke up a lot last night with the "aw hell, am I gunna make it to the bathroom or a garbage receptacle on time?" feeling. And this morning in the shower, afterwards, I was dead. My arms and legs didn't want to move. The only thing keeping my conscious was my 'do NOT be an unconscious nekkid fat chick in the bathroom!' drive. gonk Good lord, I hate the sick feeling ><
Discussion: When was the last time you were sick?
How bad was it?
And just for the helluvit: When was the last time you ate a banana or drank gatorade? Since they taste the same going down as they do coming up.

The last time I was sick was a month or so ago...I had bronchitis and so did my daughters, so I couldn't just stay in bed and get better, I had to take care of them. It was pretty bad...it lingered...I was doing everything in my power to help them get better like massaging their back and chest, putting on the air humidifier, giving they tea w/ lemon & honey...but only the prescribed meds would do the trick. It's not easy to sit by and see your kids being sick and knowing that you couldn't prevent them getting sick and that you are powerless at making them better, that the doctor's are the only ones who can help them heal *sighs*.
I can't say that I've ever eaten a banana and drank gatorade at the same time, and I don't think I'll plan on doing that any time soon, heh whee

OMG... that sounded like something serious... sad
I really hope you feel better soon.
Last time I was sick (that was not a flu, something I catch every 6 months, like now), was.... ummm.. I can't remember... I had very feel diseases and sickness on my life, thank god.
I think I didn't try Gatorade yet, nor coming down or up... ^^;

My dad thinks it might be my Hypoglycemia. So now they're making me eat breakfast everyday, and eat something before I go to bed. I used to just eat lunch and dinner. Now I have to eat Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack before bed. Plus all my snacks I eat throughout the day anyway

I am sick right now.. and what really pisses me off, is that I was absolutely healthy yesterday. I'd gotten over my cold.. but it decided to just come back, about an hour ago, twice as hard. D:

I'd gotten over my cold.. but it decided to just come back, about an hour ago, twice as hard. D: Aww... sad *huggles cerebral and Tenshi and gives them both some tea w/ honey and a soft teddybear to snuggle* I'm sorry that you're both not feeling well...get better soon! heart

D:Sounds like you have a migraine headache...they have specific medicines for migraines, you may want to check them out...I know that when my head won't stop pounding/throbbing, that tylenol/acetomenophine won't barely touch the pain, that I need migraine meds to make the pain stop. Hot showers are good, but hot baths can be more soothing 3nodding ...I find that when my head hurts, I get over stimulated and showers just make the pain more intense, hence the bath option. But if showers make ya feel better, then it's all good 3nodding biggrin

I had the worst stomach flu about 2 weeks ago. nothing like running to the toilet and holding a garbage can in front of you at the same time. Add to that the fun of trying not to puke while my 2 year old was standing there so he didn't get worried and the final piece of fun was he had it to. so i was changing his diapers in the bath tub.
in general this all leads up to i feel so sorry for you.
and yes i do agree gatorade doesn't change taste i live for the blue frost when i'm sick.
