for those of us who dont know what Harvest Moon is, I'll explain as quickly as possible to open up.

Harvest Moon is a nonviolent game made by NATSUME. the main objective is to start off from your lowly beginings by growing crops, raising animals, getting married and having a child. crops grown include Corn, Potatos, Tomatos, Cabbage, Turnips, Carrots, and animals such as Cows, Sheep, and Horses, and the most recent installment allows you the choice of being a male or female farmer with differing marital prospects.

and now from info I last researched curtesy of IGN: NATSUME has released little info on a possible online Harvest Moon. the platforms suggested are PC, Xbox360, Wii, and PS3(though not very likely on PS3 since HM doesnt sell good on sony).

what this means for HM fans? possibly a Harvest Moon village online where gamers can do all sorts of jobs such as running a farm as a team(like one player ranches and one player grows the crops), and some can work shops such as a junk shop for buying new refrigerators, a newer larger TV, and other related items, or a workshop to help other players upgrade their homes(being late means you dont get paid), I'm looking forward to an online Harvest Moon. ^_^

I know the jobs in the Harvest Moon games are...

Farmer/Rancher: the constant job for players in Harvest Moon.

Mayor: you run the town and keep an eye on things, you run the festivals providing news as to new festivals.

Bakery: you make stuff like cakes, pies, and other sweets of the pastry variety.

Blacksmith: use ores to make tools and upgrade tools for other players.

Junk Shop: making stuff like new TVs, new and larger refridgerators, heaters and air conditioners.

Doctor/Nurse: working at the clinic and recover fainted townsfolk who worked too hard.

Workshop: build and upgrade houses, barns, mills, and chicken coops for other players, also chopping wood/gathering stone and building fences for the town(wood and stone).

Pub/Bar: open late, you provide drinks to players who are tired and need to wind down a bit.

etc merchant: you sell the other stuff, ores, fodder, feed, lumber, stones, stuff some players dont have time to aquire due to overscheduling.

this is stuff that came to mind when I heard HM was possibly going online. ^_^

whats a blue ray disc?

well all things considered, I guess it would be in Natsume's best intrest to make games only for Nintendo since they have no intrest in PC or Microsoft. so we may see a number of Natsume games labeled "ONLY FOR NINTENDO". ^_^ yay! maybe I can get a deal with them, that woud be cool to have a game made anyways. ^_^
