Out in the wilderness there are areas where the vegetation pulls back and open ground is left. This is one of those such clearings; it would give ample ground for the fight that was to happen.

Quin himself stood some distance in the light dirt, a faint layer of ash still clung to the ground from the fires that had raged here not too long ago. Wearing an assortment of plate armour pieces he clanked with every movement which was made even worse with his limp.

He had to literally drag himself along by his cane with every step he took. On his left flank was the holster for his flintlock while a schianova was shieved on the right. The blade looked like a rapier, but the blade was more rigid so it could provide slashing as well as thrusting strikes.

Lifting his vizor as his opponent came nearer he then took it off and held it in his right. Grinning like a fool at the fun he should have this day.

"Thanks for coming. Was a real b***h to get a hold of you, but thanks for agreeing to this. I need to see how I match up."

This clearing was a spot in which was easy enough for anyone to find more so for Reaper seeing how this entire wilderness was her backyard. She say idly upon a small stump waiting patiently for the man to arrive surprised that he was able to get hold of her. It was in her nature to make it difficult for others to find her she wasn't one that liked to be disturbed often. One leg across the other at the ankles while leaning back upon the palm of her hands. Wearing the usual blend of crimson and black though today her clothing were of light weight. A simple outfit actually a small black blouse that was sleeveless exposing her slim flat stomach and lightly muscled arms. Those old gloves still clasped over her delicate hands her black boots were beginning to look similiar to the gloves when it came to all the light colored stitches.

Over the blouse was a crimson vest which was left open and also sleeveless matching the pair of mini shorts. Actually, it was more like she was wearing two shorts the mini one and then the skin tight black one beneath it that came down to the mid of her thighs. All of her elegant legs revealed the usualy long braided hair was today kept back in a tightly contained bun. A few stubborn strands dangling around her face framing it lightly. Those sky burst eyes falling from the heavens back down to reality finding Quin. Rising up from her seated position she gave a light bow of her head in a way of greeting him.

"If I didn't know any better I'll say you were related to a tank." Reaper commented taking in all of that heavy clanky armor he was wearing. Personally not understanding how one could put themselves to wearing such things for a extended period of time. The assassin disliked having so much on it was annoying. The only true reason she ever agreed to this was the simple fact she was becoming bored out of her mind. And she was sure no one wanted her to go and destroy something valuable so this way it would help him to see how much he has come when it comes to battle and for her it will help spend all of her built up energy.

"So, is there anything in peticular you would like to be in this or not?" she ask making sure to know what was allowed and what not.

Laughing his entire body shook and there was that clank of metal again. Tossing the helm to the ground it rolled some distance before stopping.

"A tank? That be mighty amusing. Never much seen one, but from what I've studied they would be a fearsome beast."

Shrugging his shoulders he shook his head. He couldn't think of any restrictions that would be useful; he wanted to see how well he measured up against others and this would be that chance.

After the humiliation at the hands of that invader he would have to prove himself in combat. Though he knew his skills tested on the outside world said he was good; but he wanted to show these people just how far he came.

Rattling his armour he struck an armoured fist against his left shoulder.

"Whenever you're ready."

"More along the lines of an annoying ugly bugger.' Reaper answered with an amusing smirk. "A loud one at that."

The soles of her boots could barely be heard..in fact she hardly made a sound at all. Even her clothes could barely be heard as she moved unlike Quin whom could probably be heard from miles away. Tugging up a brown tattered bag unlacing the top of it. A bag that carried her usual merchandise of items that she frequantly used. Pulling out the pair of gauntlets for now allowing the bag to take its place back beside the stump. Instead of putting the gauntlets on she strapped them on the leather belt around her waist. Reaper also was one that liked to test out her abilities frequantly to see how far she had come. For now she wanted to focus on her magical qualities rather then her physical.

The left foot being dragged back about two or three feet befhind the right. Toe pointing out at a ninty degree angle while the toes of the right foot stood its ground outward towards the opponent. Pelvis facing off to the tree line while her upper body was lightly twisted towards Quin as well. Arms held up high yet close to her slender curvious body the hands staying palm open instead of a ball of fists.

"By all means do the honor of going first."

"Then so be it."

Deception and trickery were Quin's best skills. They were what made him who he was and allowed him to drift so easily in the world of ever changing states. His travelles proved quite a bit about how things opperated; but hardly did any one ever suspect what he did.

As he spoke he removed the gaunlets he had worn; and odd move consider he had worn all that armour to begin with so why take it off? Was it deception? Or had Quin just worn the armour in case she would do like wise? Perhaps he was trying to get a fair fight.

Perhaps indeed, because through a magical burst of energy when the final sound of his voice died down all the straps of armour unclasped and clattered to the ground at his feet.

Wearing clothes that were simple he wore a cream tunic with a ruby red jerkin over it and matching trousers. Black leather boots protected his feet and travelled half way up his ankle.

Cane still in hand he took a step foward, as he did so his leg limped; but he was channeling energy into it.

"Well shall we?"

As though he were inviting her to start a cup of tea he lunged foward with his right foot. The distance infront of them was too great for the strike to actualy do anything.

Quin just wanted to provoke a reaction from her as he thrusted the tip of his cane towards her face. With arm fully stretched there would be a foot between the tip and her face.

It was a great amount of relief to watch all of that armor simply fall from the man's body. She was slightly worried by the fact that all of it would slow him down greatly. The only thing more annoying then a lightening speed cocky mouth fighter was a slow turtiose like man with heavy deadly weapons. Eyes narrowing to watch every moment in which the man made as he made a sudden rush towards her. For a man with a limp he was good when it came to speeds. The woman stood her ground calculating the distance between them as he neared. Her feet came together as she stood fully facing him standing her ground. Right palm outstretched before her towards the point in which the cane would be coming out at.

An eerie crimson glyph bursted upon the glove before twinkling away as the cane came to a halt about a foot from her. A smile played upon her thin smooth lips. The mans shadow would waver much like the unsettled surface of a lake. That was when a horde of strands rose up and came about the mans' feet and legs. They weren't anything great she didn't want to start out with something massive on the first move that was plain boring. At the tip of each shadow was a opening gap one it came in contact with the mans flesh it would attatch itself to the skin much like a leech would. Very much like a leech it would begin to suck out the flow of blood through his legs while injecting a liquid into the viens that was causing at first a strong icy chill sensation. That was only the first stage of the liquids affect though.

Right foot foward with the cane outstretched when she did her little number; let her, it would all be for naught. Bringing his weight up on his right leg the cane was thrusted at her solar plexis before his body swung about to catch her jaw with his left foot in a wide arc kick.

Her little trick though would find itself thwarted. Quin had once locked a daemon within his flesh that seeped at his sanity; but once he had pledge his soul in the black book he could regain another one. And another one he had, it would take more then a light spell then what she did to leach his blood.

She would need to make him bleed with a cut of steel upon flesh.

The leeches dispersed shattering to little pieces like glass before melding back together to its original form of his shadow. Hands diving into the opening of the guantlets. Once locked inside the metal gave a metalic hiss as the metal suddenly extended upwards as if it was alive. Engulging her arms all the way to the shoulders in its smooth thin yet amazingly strong armor. Protruding a small furry of spikes at the elbows an indentation of angelic wings upon the back of the hands. Her body was twisting towards the movement of his foot right hand extending up quickly in order to lock the metalic claws around the thickness of his boot. Though because of her being so light in weight her feet skidded across the ground from the kick.

Body moving backwards his foot was going towards a good pair of dirt trails following the slides of her feet. Till the hills managed to dig themselves into tougher soiler and a bit deeper. Once drawing to a stand still from the kick action would kick in. The free metalic hand would thrust upwards to the back of Quin's knee. Long sharp metalic claws imprinted themselves to the flesh and frabic. Piercing through the fabric with ease before coming to the meaty warm flesh. Going straight for the muscles that made his legs usable to begin with. When those muscles go the leg would practically be useless.

((Interupt.))

While the jab had been short the aim was true and with the lead core of the cane and the small tip the force would be unexpected. With a thud it landed upon her, as she had no armour she would feel the full brunt of the force being nocked back and short of breath.

That's probably what saved her, ignoring a feint to block the kick. As she grabbed his leg one of two things happened. Quin barked some animalistic growl, his eyes intent upon what was happening. And second would be a wall of force nocking into her as though as wall crashed into her.

If she still held onto his foot he would press off the ground with his right leg and and rotate his bod, twisting his held leg so that his back was sky wards and his right leg would crash against her chest while his hands supported his weight on the ground.

Just as she thought she had maintaned her ground and balance she would be thrown off it completely. The sudden force came out of no where she didn't even sense it coming till it came in full contact with her. Knocking her completely off balance her body flipped backwards towards the spot she had first started out. During the fall she used the force to twist her body far back so that when she met the ground it would be with a roll. A roll in which would allow her to come up to a crouch position. Wasting not time Reaper pushed off the ground rushing right back towards her opponent. Claws flexing out as the gap between the two of them started to become enclose. A dark hue followed her before her feet started to skid upon the surface. Right hand bring brought up with a slight tilt slashing across the torso. Following this path was a sharp black shadow giving off lavendar sparks this shadow sliced right through the ground like butter and was quickly following the path in which her gaunlet made to Quin. The other arm coming across horizontally with the same sort of design following it.

Since she had let go his brougth down his leg tell they were both at his side. The fight was rather amusing for him and he smirked, he hadn't even begun to reach into his bag of tricks. Pistol and sword still hung at his sides and so far he had only engaged her with body and cane.

No longer inhibited by the limp because of the magical energy he passed through it Quin was ready for what may come. Though if she thought her clumsy sweeps would get him she had another thing coming.

Tossing the cane to the side Quin did the unthinkable. He moved in closer; forming about his hands a shield of energy his left hand caughter her right at the wrist while he stopped her left with the back of his fore arm, a wall of telekineses force shrouding them both from bodily harm.

And as though that was enough her foward momentum would find itself slammed into his upraised right knee.

The right arm shook lightly within his hold as it struggled within his grasp ignoring the ache forging within the other. Her body lunge forward curving over the up raised knee. Head hanging downwards quite a bit as she cringed grinding her teeth together. The air was forced out of her lungs creating a burning ache to form in them before the air started to lightly flow back in. That cringing turning itself int a grin though so far she had been on the lossing end she was still findign this amusing and fun. Truthfully for Reaper it had never been about winning a battle for it was more for the simple thrill and challenge of it. Quin still left that single hand free for her to do with it as she will. Giving the illusion of her arm falling downwards once it started to come around the lower side area her claws would plunge forward digging themselves into the warm flesh. The claws held fast to him while allowing the other wrist to be held captive by him. She was highly flexiable something in which he was about to discover for himself.

One foot crept up to his out calf climbing herself up his body she gave as much push as she could master up from her current position. Hopefully enough for her to position her other foot upon his raised knee. If and once that was accomplished she would make a quick rush throwing her upper body backa bit while bringing up her lower part. Feet cascading up his torso till they met his shoulder where they would slid over them and her legs would become locked around his neck a good position for sufication. She had to release his side in order to do this move and her other arm unfortunely was left a bit behind her and slightly twisted. That was unfortunate for her but she wasn't about to complain about it. Using the claws to now dig into his shoulder blades to try to render one of his arms usless slightly while squeeze upon his neck.

Bringing his knee down not even a full second after it's strike he steppled in closer. Her hanging head would slam into his left shoulder as he pivoted his body. There would be no room for her legs to do much at this distance, their best chance would be a blow to his legs.

His legs where less then shoulders width apart with his left leg foward of the right. When she tried to gut his side with her left claws she would find that his arm was not just staying where it had been.

Sweeping it downwards infront of his body the outer right portion caught her arm and sent it off course, past his body and then upwards as his motion continued.

To Quin it wasn't just the thrill of the fight. There was always that rush, but it was the proving of his skill and that ment he had to beat down what obstacles came in his way.

The blow to the head was enough to cause a brief blackout of her vision all the colors and forms simply vanishing. While this might've made others feel the most vulnerable it was the complete opposite for Reaper. Twice now she had to deal with the lost of vision for an extended period of time. Learning how to live with the disability of blindness it was simply another way to see the world surrounding them. This calmness allowed her to continue thinking on her feet of what strageties and moves she could throw out towards this man. While the gutting was thrown far from course Reaper didn't falter nor halt in her movement. Not currently needing sight in order to see what she could unfold in the battle. The captured arm came into play now the gauntlet twisted in his hold grasping hold of his wrist getting a firm grip.

The next move was something she had to be ready for if she wanted to not get caught up in it herself. Holding the man in place now the muscles upon the off course arm ached as they started to work once more to her will. Claws uncurling the angle wings upon the back started to resonate with an eerie glow as the magic qualities were channeled. As her hand started to come back into complete control the world blasted into formation for her. All at once the colors and forms returning to her sea deep eyes. Launching her hand forward it landed straight upon Quin's chest as black strings of bolts strung up along Reaper's arm. The hold upon Quin's wrist would falter as she attempted to tare her arm from his hold while at the same time a blast of dark magic simply crashed into the man's chest. A blast strong enough to throw the both of them back.

When Quin had rotated his arm to send her strike off course and away from his body he had twisted his wrist so that the palm was face up. So when Reaper bent her arm to try again his thumb slid neatly into the inner part of the joint. Grasping her arm at this junction she would find most of the force she was trying to put into her thrust wasted as Quin held the arm back.

Her energy would find itself not wasted, but not used either as the arm had not made contact. The claws of her right gauntlet would dig into the mental shield Quin had placed along his right arm.

Shifting his body slightly so that the left was closer to Reaper Quin raised his right leg close to his stomach before snapping it out into a kick at her left shin.
