Damn.
Why the hell did it have to rain on a day like today!? The most miserable and awful weather she could ever think to be in existence. That downpoor of misery, falling of sins. Torrent of pain and suffering. Yada yada yada. You get the picture. She was miserable.
Icy sheets of thick and hard liquid crystal were showering the land in their sticky surface. Gold glints bounced around their inner circles as the slight light caught the gold of her coat, sending a flash across the lands. Her ears felt the back of her head, eyes narrowed, white brows furrowed in utter disgust.
A grumpy and temperamental mare always, this simply just made her day. It made her day awful. What she wouldn't do to have a nice Nequus to beat into mush at this very moment. Just a slight challenge and she would smash them into the dirt. They better not dare come anywhere near her.
A stray strand of silver flew by her eye. She stomped her foot and snapped at it with her teeth, before absently blowing at it in some hopes of ridding it form her vision. She succeeded for only a moment before a few drops of crystalline promptly deposited it back in its former position.

The rain was cold, and it hit his sides and flanks like tiny icy spears. He wasn’t used to it, and for the sake of his withers he had stretched his wings outward, trying to crane them as best he could to umbrella his sides. What was left of him quickly became drenched. His thick, curly main pressed against his long neck in slivers, and the end of his tail quickly became muddied with the wet earth. He would have looked rather miserable, had it not been for the peculiar glint in his pale golden eyes. He seemed accepting of the rain, although his ears he kept pressed against his forehead. It wasn’t going to stop Shahab from moving. It was a faint stomping which caught his attention, and for a brief moment his ears pricked and allowed icy droplets to pool against it. He inhaled the cold air and snorted it back out in a wave of mist, scenting the area around him. The rain made everything smell of musty earth. It was a female- creating the stomping noise, that is. He couldn’t doubt the scent, although by her figure it was hard to miss either. She seemed riled up, and faintly he nickered against the odd antics of her. But for the moment- the white nequus kept his mouth shut.

Her ears flicked forwards for just a moment, head held high, the rush of wind flowing through her nostrils as she caught the others scent. The torrent of rain ceased for a moment, a calm before the Storm. Then the true downpoor started. Icy beads beating reletntlessly about her coat putting her bitter mood to an absolute boil.
Her body itself let off steam, mist dancing about the air giving her an almost eerie feel. She snorted once more at his scent , ears pivoting, still trying to asses just what to do with him. She wasn't sure weather to call out, or chase him into oblivion. Let him come where she would be better able to pound him into the sand. She felt no need to move now. Moving made the hair rub together, stick like sweat, except a sweat that covered your whole body and redused to move. Made you cold when the air was already harsh enough to freeze another's soul.
She watched him warily as he approached, though his comming was slow. What did he want of her? He was male, that already held bad tidings. Females she could tolerate to a certain extent, but one could never muster what males would want, they tended to have a certain deviance about them, and it didn't bode well for her loner mentality.
She nickered out a greeting, though it was not a cheerful one. Her chin pressed against her chest, skull met ear, tail spewing water in every direction.

Shahab flicked his ears as the cold prickles stroked across his head. His eyes could faintly make out the form of the female before the water blotched it out. She seemed at best disgruntled, but there was a good chance it was quite a few degrees before that. In response to her stomping, he quickly ushered out his own response in a flash of black hooves, and the craning of his neck. So- she wished to call him over?
Or send him away?
“Hello.” He spoke simply, flicking his curled tail as he sidestepped to the left. There was some caution about how he dealt with it- the last thing he’d like would have been to receive a nasty bite from some strange lady.
"No need to be troubled."

Her mood did not improve, especially as he seemed to stay. Her eyes narrowed, brows furrowed, starting coldly towards his presence. Her own neck was arched, ears still flat, though they moved forwards every so often to listen for his footfalls. His simple hello seemed to fall over her head like the rain. Her response to his outcalling was another stop of her hoof and another snort. This one was not worth her time.
Her gaze flicked about his body, sizing him up, then back to his own sharp orbs. "Troubled?" came her acid voice. She wasn't troubled she was furious! He continued to creep his way up, despite her anger, yet she had to admit she toyed with him quite a bit.
"I'm not troubled." She turned her body so her head was towards him, ears switching positions from pinned to forwards, double teaming to make sure her message got across, but a firm eye was kept on him.
