The Aoide
People may or may not want to rp these in thread O.o
if you want to the acceptable storyline for them is as follows:
Aoidei, singular Aoide.
From the three origianl muses, these mini-immortals are the "voices" of the gods they serve. They are servants of old, who praise and attend the temples, advise to a minor degree, and see to their masters needs. The mouths of their gods to the mortal followers.
They can fly, clean, cook and sing. They have no immediate powers themselves, save immunity to death by passage of time.

*raises hand* Question~! What does happen when Aoide 'die'? =o
Aoide are of the class of Immortals that are Ageless. By this, they do not grow old and time will never kill them. They can, however, be killed in battle, by magic, etc.
Upon death, an Aoide's essence is put before Justice/Judgement. Before that seat it would be determined if they had served their station as a muse and servant well. (note, that I say their station, not whether they are good or evil )
Those who were judged to have served well receive the choice to be given over to paradise to rest for all eternity, or to be given over to rebirth and re-enter the cycle of the world in some form. (The form bestowed, be it again an aoide, a mortal creature, another of the ageless, etc. varied. In all cases, such a being would be of exceptional abilities)
Those who were judged to have served poorly were given over to Nemesis, daughter of Destruction, who would see to it that they suffered accordingly and/or where banished from ever existing with her father's aid.
A note of curiosity, however, the Fading affected many of the Aoide as it did their masters. Their power waned , the majority of them just faded into nothingness, bare voices and memories on the wind until they were silenced and forgotten forever. A fate as gruesome as the end of Nemesis.
The strongest of them often fell into a deathless sleep, for while they were diminished, these prince's and favourite's had strength enough to seal themselves away and wait. This was in part action and suggestion by Creation, though only the Aoide and the last of the gods to fall are aware of such efforts. Some literally were given to sleep, others sealed like statues, and so on. Aoide won through shop events are of this sort, once old powers now diminished, but gladly awakened to search out places among the Gods service. Have fun with discovering/writing just what method was found between them and Creation to seal them away until the voices of the gods woke them.
