Could it be? Could it possibly be?
Was Takuto out of his mind? Or was he actually in his right mind?
He had left home and was floating around town and had choosen to float up to the top of a building and sulk there. Isn't that what a cat normally did? Sulk?
Well, perhaps, but not every cat had a reason to sulk. Even Takuto, the angelic cat, wasn't even a real cat. He wasn't even an angel. With detatched ears and replica angel apendages, who was he?
Kira Takuto. Kira Takuto, the fake, the rude, the cold. Was it true he was this heartless? Surely Fate had not returned his life because he'd been heartless. There was a reason for everything and yet Takuto could not find his reason. He couldn't even find a friend.
His way of doing things was strange, yet eventually predictable. And like schedule dictates, he would get bored of sulking momentarily and float away elsewhere. Gliding along the sidewalks, ignoring stares, he wondered where he'd let the wings take him.

It was a blur, and instant of motion and emotion, when Kyroku was rammed by a wayward soul... or lack thereof. In all honesty, it was really Kyroku's fault. One should never just stand in the middle of a sidewalk.
Instead of falling, the insect-hybrid skidded back, furred feet providing some traction against the rough cement. The green claws that doubled as toenails made a slight "screech" against the ground, and his multi-colored wings started to flap in an attempt to keep balance.
"Pardon me."

Blinking in shock, Takuto's eyes went wide as he stopped short and backed away. Setting himself down on the sidewalk in a neat manner, and allowing his brown sneakers to scoff the pavement he folded his arms. "Not a problem." He shrugged and waved one of his arms, moving to glide past him but then wondering if he shouldn't or he should say something.
A pause.
"...are you okay? By the way?" He said it quickly, as if he was nervous.

"I'm fine." Kyroku answered without a second thought, smiling as he ran his nails through his golden hair. The man's attitude was overall calm and understanding.
"Sorry for getting in your way. I didn't see you come down the street..." This all seemed like a bad, cheesy movie. He was going to make his apologies and keep it from turning into some weird adventure.

Or was he? Whenever someone met this particular cat it was hard to tell what would happen. It could range from nothing to .... well... nothing. So perhaps things would stay quiet just this once.
Takuto blinked, taking yet another moment to examine the anthro before him. It looked like a fox with wings stuck on it's back for some freakish reason. "Yea well..." He put his hands in his pockets. "Just watch where you're walking next time. Should be more careful, you could get hurt neh?" It wasn't as if he seemed concerned, it was just his nature to ridicule.
