I'd love to be a veggie. Everytime I get the opportunity, I try to get meat out of my meal. Unfortunately, my school either features a low costing meat lunch, or my dad starts screaming at me about how I'm on some kind of indian diet and how its not healthy.

I guess after awhile, people just get used to it ... I've been a veggie for 9 years, and I don't get as much hassle for being a veggie as I used to.

Well I'm rambling & whats worse is I'm sounding old even to me ( Yes Ed I know, it's because I AM old. sweatdrop ) so I'll shut up now lol. xd

I was a vegetarian for a while. Yeah, it didn't work out but I really respect those who do choose that lifestyle. My friend is an aquatarian meaning the only meat she will eat is fish. I rarely eat meat, but sometimes I just get those cravings for steak. I prefer deer meat, however. It's extremely healthy and I feel better about it. Deer don't usually die of old age. Typically, their teeth rot and they starve or winter comes around all the vegetation is buried beneath snow. So in a way I feel as though I'm doing the deer a favor.

I'm a strict vegetarian. Not a vegan though. I tried it but it doesn't work for me. I don't eat anything containing something made out of animals. It's really tough finding non-leather shoes for winter. sweatdrop
But I think it's worth it. It has given me a lot more engery. Even though I suffer from a lack of sleep. I don't know any other vegetarians and people don't understand me, but everyone I've met accepts and respects it. But when I tell people I'm a vegetarian they start talking about meat. How much THEY love it and couldn't live without it. That's rude I think. Talking about that in front of me. But I can't change their way of living and they can't change mine.
