Old England romances are my favortie. I love the way there are a set of rules. Like society. And the main characters fall in love, usually against the rules.

they are my favorites to. they make me daydreaming about how it was in that time. and those ages were already my favorite when i was a little child. so bring on the time-capsule and let us all go to that time to see how it was smile

I LOVE Old-England romances!
And sometimes I wish I could go back to that time when everything was so simple, like deciding whether to go out, or write your significant other a letter.
But then the realistic side kicks in ((which I wish didn't)) and I start thinking about how stratified everyone was, and how women had the lower social standings, and how even if I were alive back then, what are the chances I'd really meet my Mr. Darcy? Eh! rolleyes

I like Medieval times, with knights, princess, and that sort of stuff. Most (uneducated) people think it was a boring place, but tis not so. There was a lot of reasonless violence, lords and ladies sleeping around all over the place, and the clergy throwing orgy parties every so often.
So much fun to read about... biggrin

I love the Knight Series by Gaelen Foley, takes place right after the fall of Napoleon. Great series!!! I love the insight into the strictures of the society in this time period.

I loved that series. She's got another one coming out soon about the Knight cousins. There's...three of them I think.
