Large white wings flapped in the air as Athrun floated on the breeze. His overly large wings kept his propotionatly smaller body glide easily between them, the muscles were strong despite his long sleep and lack of using them. All in all the old god was rather fit. But then gods didn't really have problems with physical things like aging or being sick and sore. So Athrun figured that he was spared the problems of all of that.
Yet here he was floating in the sky boredly. He was incredibly bored. Now flying wasn't as fun, and the feeling was all of a sudden. A sigh flitted it's way from between Athrun's jaws and he glided over the cerulean sky down towards the waves of grassland below. Maybe something down there would catch his curiosity.

Hime A juvenile lion was trying to have fun with a little grasshopper jumping from side to side and then he bounced on the young lions nose and jumped into a bush. The little male lion looked surprized at the insect when he vanished into the bush, ok that was rather annoying he use to be good at catching bugs maybe this wasn't his day?
Then he decided to make a try to catch it that was the challenge off this day. He peeked his head into the bush " Ok little one i know your are here~~ " you could see his back and tail sticking out from the bush so passing creatures would probably wanna know what he was doing or maybe just think he was strange..

Athrun raised an eyebrow clear of the blindfold when he saw a pale hind end sticking up in the air, the tail swishing from side to side as if it was stalking something. So it was most likely a young cub or a small juvenile, but that didn't stop the god of loneliness from having his fun every once in a great while.
The edge of his mouth curled up as he gazed at the tail and without a second thought, he reached out with one of his large paws and pulled on the end of it gently. Just giving the owner a gentle wake up call that he shouldn't have his hind quarters where the world would be able to see them.
The god didn't remember ever being the age this lion was, so he couldn't say that he sympathized with cub-like charms, but he was greatly amuzed by it. "You should protect your hind quarters more little cub." Athrun said in a fatherly voice, the intoning of his powers shimmering through his words.

Hime Kigao as the little juvnile was named was trying to see where that bug could have hided so he didn't expect anyone to come and pul his tail. The little lion squeeked and jumped into the bush and turned around his pale body and peeked back outside again. His green eyes saw something big and strange and the lion had wings too...what was this creature?
Kigao was so surprized he could just stare but that didn't hold him back to say " Hey you! it isn't nice to scare others like that " the male pouted his lip and didn't look very happy at all.

Athrun let him self laugh at the young lion's expression for a moment, his words making the moment that much funnier. The god had seen many a pouty face in his time, but that lip was definietly unique. "Well, any other creature but myself would have taken a bite out of your hind quarters. You should count yourself lucky that it was simply me and not a hyena." Athrun told him, resisting the urge to chuckle once again. "What was it you were chasing or stalking anyway?"

Hime Kigao raised an eyebrown and looked at the creature he couldn't be just a lion he had to be something else. And Kigao wasn't so much fond off male lions at all because they always scared him but this seemed a little diffrent..
" Umm well ok maybe it's good that you are no hyena " he use to be on his guard or wait a minute no he wasn't and that was very stupid off him..
" Oh well i saw a grasshopper that i was trying to get...it is troday's challenge "

Athrun sat down and laughed again, flicking his abnormally large wings down over his back to hide his ankh and heiroglyphics on his back and hips. The god was in a good mood today. "Today's challenge? Would you like some help with finding yet another grasshopper then little grasshopper? With those wings on your back you should be able to fly to find one." Athrun smiled down at him gently.
It wasn't often that he met up with another lion, especially not one so young, but then he had been asleep for a good long time. Twenty thousand years was far too long for a god to be asleep after all, but maybe this little lion would be of help to him in rebuilding his pride.

Hime Kigao jumped out from the bush and sat down infront off the creature he still tought he was or a very weird lion. The little lion wasn't scared anymore so he fur on his back had started to lay down..
" Heh yes i don't have so much to do around here when i travel with my new family so when they are resting i like to play "
Kigao was still suspect about the strange lion..what was he? and why did he have wings? there was so many questions that needed an answer but he didn't have the curage to ask..

Athrun gazed down at the cub for a moment, new family? What family would abandone a lion this age to his own? Shaking his head, the blindfolded white god sighed. "Would it make you feel better if I cloaked my wings so you couldn't see them?" Athrun asked him gently.
"So you travel with others? Where is your new family headed? It seems like you're going east, or am I wrong?" the god was curious, because the further east they walked the closer they got to the old pridelands of the pride he had lost. If they were indeed looking to go there then maybe they were trying to remake that pride?

Hime Kigao continued to look up at the big lion " Um well it is a long story but my mother had to leave me so i might have a chans off surviving...when my father was killed by a younger lion my mother feared for my life and put me out under a bush so i didn't have to be killed.. "
The youn juvenile shoke his head.. " No you are born like that so you keep em "
" So many questions you ask umm strange lion...yes another lion adopted me so i am traveling with him to east "

"Such a cruel past for one as young as you. I'm glad that you've found a place you can be where others will watch over you." Athrun told him. So that was why this young cub was so familiar. He had felt his loneliness and pain not that long ago hadn't he? It made him a little sad to know that in what would seem like the blink of an eye, this lion would age and be gone.
That was the problem with being a god after all. "You can call me Athrun. Am I really all that strange? I am only a god after all, most of us have wings, with maybe one or two exceptions who fell and lost them." the god of loneliness inclinded his head in a slight not to honor those who had fallen.

Hime Kigao wasn't as upset about his father being killed and his mother left him because this life was good too if not better. He smiled blow off some bangs from his eyes..
The young lion starred at the lion called Athrun was he really a god? no that couldn't be right those where just stories for little Kigao that his mother use to tell him but why should Athrun lie? " Oh i..i am Kigao " he didn't know more what to say he had to melt that god information first..

Athrun watched the smaller lion's expressions closely, from the smile to the act of his blowing up his mane out of his face, the little lion didn't seem to hold that much agression or loneliness. Even sadness was gone from his heart. The only thing that was there was scepticism.
"Kigao then? You shouldn't stutter, speak clearly and those that hear you will think highly of your pride." Athrun explained with a soft smile. Behind his blindfold his sky blue eyes twinkled, but the world would rarely see them again. He had too much power in him and too little ability to control it due to a lack of age and strength. But he knew everything he was capable of.

Hime " I am sorry it was just that i tought only gods excisted in fairy tales not in reality but clarley you do excist.. " he shoke his body lightly to shake off the strange feeling off meeting a god because that was strange..
The lion nodded and smiled once again " So Athrun...what are you doing around here? and is it fun being the god off loniless it feels umm lonley "

"Aaah. So that was the problem then. No, we do exist, many of us exist in this world. We simply don't let mortals know of us all that often. For good reason as well, but myself, I'm attempting to bring back the pride that I was once associated with. The Dawnwalkers." He sighed gently.
Athrun was begining to feel that his quest to bring his pride back to life was getting more than aduous and impossible. Was it even possible to ressurect a long gone pride from the dust? Or was that another impossible task that even a god couldn't accomplish. Because the god of loneliness had found out far too often that the impossible was often just as impossible for a god.
